Marketed as “balanced historical critiques,” these writings often obscure deeper biases that distort the Sidama struggle and reduce its multi-generational fight for self-rule to little more than tribal essentialism. Ethiopian authorities and the World Bank Group have signed a 370 million dollar (7.5 billion birr) agreement on Thursday for the construction of construct the 57 km Zeway- Arsi Negele section of the Mojo-Hawassa Highway Road Project. The Project is part of the Ethiopian Expressway Development Support Project.
