Bamboo tree ( the strong hollow stems of a tropical plant. Use: building, furniture, canes, fishing rods. or a plant with long woody, often hollow, stems that grows in dense clumps and produces bamboo. Native to: tropical and semitropical areas.) It's roof, wall, door, window, celling and so on are all from Bamboo tree. The beauty of the house from outside and inside reflect the skill and talent of the local Sidama engineers.
The traditional house have two internal arrangements or partitions. The partitions are known as Aldio and Holgie. Aldio is again arranged into two partitions knows as Bosalo and Hadiro. Bosalo services as reception room where there are place to sit, to make fire and sometimes place to sleep.( for gust and Children) The other section which mean Holgie also made to be Ma'na ( bed room) and working place and store.

Sidama traditional house foundation and inauguration are accompanied with the festive. For example; during inauguration married men and female dance Hano while others dance Weeddo.
