አዲስ አበባ፣ ሀምሌ 12፣2006 ( ኤፍ.ቢ.ሲ .) የኢትዮጵያ ከ14 አመት በታች ብሔራዊ ቡድን ዛሬ ለአለም ዋንጫ ጨዋታ ወደ አሜሪካ ተጓዘ። በፓሽን የስፖርት አካዳሚ ላለፉት አራት ወራት በእግር ኳስ የሰለጠኑ ታዳጊዎች በቺካጎ ከሐምሌ 12 -19 /2014 በሚደረገው የአለም ዋንጫ ውድድር ለማካፈል ወደ ስፍራው አቅንተዋል። ኢትዮጵያ እና ጋና ከአፍሪካ ጨምሮ አስራ አንድ አገራት በሚሳተፉበት ውድድር አሰልጣኝ አሰግድ ተስፈዬ እና 18 አባላት የያዘው የኢትዮጵያ ቡድን ወደ አሜሪካ ተጉዟል።

The Ethiopian Airports Enterprise (EAE) is seeking bidders for the construction of Hawassa Airport, with the design now complete According to reports, the airport's blueprint comprises an airfield which has been designed by the Transport Construction Design Enterprise (TCDE). The terminal has been designed by a private consulting firm named Bereket Tesfaye Consulting Architects and Engineering, and will comprise a five-storey building with a VIP lounge, security check points, baggage handling, restaurant, kitchen and a terrace.
