በሲዳማ ዞን ሸበዲኖ ወረዳ በተያዘው የምርት ዘመን ከ171 ሺህ  ኩንታል በላይ ምርት መሰብሰቡን የወረዳው አስተዳደር አስታወቀ:: የወረዳው ዋና አስተዳዳሪ አቶ ታረቀኝ ጋቤራ ለወረዳው ምክር ቤት 3ኛ ዙር 11ኛ መደበኛ ጉባኤ ባቀረቡት የሥራ አፈፃፀም ሪፖርት ምርቱ የተሰበሰበው በ6 ሺህ 5 መቶ 9ዐ ሄክታር መሬት ላይ ከተመረቱ በቆሎ፣ ጤፍ፣ ስንዴ፣ ገብስ፣ ቦሎቄና ከሌሎች ሰብሎች መሆኑን ገልፀዋል::በምርት ዘመኑ 625 ሺህ የቡና ችግኞች ለበልግ የተከላ ወቅት መዘጋጀታቸውን የጠቆሙት ዋና አስተዳዳሪው በ156 ሄክታር መሬት ላይ የነበሩ ያረጁ የቡና ተክሎች ተጐንድለዋል::2ዐ ኩንታል የቡና ዘር መዘጋጀቱን ተናግረዋል:: በወረዳው የተሻሻሉ ምርጥ የከብት ዝሪያዎችን ለማርባት 82 ከብቶች በሰው ሠራሽ ዘዴ፣ 447 ደግሞ በኮርማ መዳቀላቸውን አውስተው የእንስሳት በሽታን አስቀድሞ ለመከላከል በተደረገው ጥረት ለ6 መቶ ከብቶች ክትባት መሰጠቱን ገለፀዋል::ሪፖርተራችን ካሳ ጀንቦላ ከበንሳ ቅርንጫፍ እንደዘገበው:: http://www.smm.gov.et/_Text/08MiyaTextN604.html

FORT COLLINS  - Colorado State University signed an international Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ethiopia’s Hawassa University to provide collaborative research and teaching opportunities for faculty and graduate students at the two universities. The MOU was signed in January of this year, and in February, a team of four CSU researchers from the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory traveled to south-central Ethiopia where they taught short courses in geographic information systems, watershed management, animal nutrition and forest ecology at the Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources located off Hawassa’s main campus.
