(ኤፍ.ቢ.ሲ) የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የልደት በአልን ስናከበር መልካም ተግባራትን በመፈጸም መሆን ይገባል አሉ የሃይማኖት አባቶች፡፡ በዓሉን በማስመልከት የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስትያን፣ የካቶሊክና የወንጌላውያን አብያተ ክርስቲያናት አባቶች በአሉን አስመልክተው መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል። የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን ፓትርያርክ ብጹዕ ወቅዱስ አቡነ ማትያስ የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የልደት በዓል ሲከበር መንፈሳዊ ተግባራትን በመፈጸም ሊሆን ይገባል ብለዋል። ኢትዮጵያውያንና ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያውያንም በሀገሪቱ እየተካሄደ ያለውን ሁለንተናዊ ልማትም ለመደገፍ ቃል በመግባት ማክበር ይጠበቅባቸዋልም ነው ያሉት። የኢትዮጵያ ካቶሊካዊት  ቤተክርስቲያን ሊቀ ዻዻስ ብጹዕ አቡነ ብርሀነየሱስ ደምረው በበኩላቸው የእምነቱ ተከታዮች በዓሉን ሲያከብሩ በመስጠትና አቅመ ደካሞችን በመርዳት መሆን አለበት ነው ያሉት። የክርስቶስን ልደት ስናስብ የኛን ድጋፍ የሚሹትን በማሰብና የታመሙትን በመጠየቅ ሊሆን ይገባል ያሉት ደግሞ የኢትዮጰያ ወንጌላውያን አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ህብረት ዋና ጸሀፊ ቄስ አለሙ ሼጣ ናቸው። የኢትዮጰያ ወንጌላዊት ቤተክርስቲያን መካነ ኢየሱስ ፕሬዝዳንት ቄስ ዋቅስዩም ኢዶሳም በዓሉን ስናከብር መልካም ተግባራትን በመፈጸም ሊሆን ይገባል፡፡ በክርስትና እምነት ተከታዮች ከሚከበሩት አበይት በዓላት መካከል አንዱ የሆነው የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የልደት በዓል ነገ ይከበራል።

The official website of India TV that had published a dubious online ranking two weeks ago that it claimed to be a list of the “top 10 most educated politicians in the world” has retracted the story. Indiantvnews.com has now pulled back the “top 10” story and changed the title saying the random list was just intended to highlight the educational backgrounds of 10 leaders from around the world without any sort of ranking. In response to an email inquiry challenging the authenticity of the original list that contradicts publicly available facts, Anushrav Gulati, an editor with the website, acknowledged mistakes in the confusing ranking. “The list was not intended to be any sort of ranking of politicians on the basis of their educational qualifications, but, on the other hand, is merely intended to highlight the educational backgrounds of ten persons,” the editor explained. Voters’ registration for the upcoming national election will begin on Friday January 9 and will continue till February 19, according to timetable announced by the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE). During the previous national election electoral officials postponed the deadline twice from its original schedule. Finally, the officials announced that the total number of registered voters reached 31,926,520 adding that 6.3 million more voters were already registered then than in 2005.
