Marriot International soon in Hawassa
Following the continually rising interest of investing in Ethiopia in all aspects and the double digit economic growth it celebrated for the last decade, the country is becoming the conference hub of the continent.
This has been making conference tourism, one of the investment area attracting foreign investors. In an attempt to reap the opportunity, thus, created the presence of international brand hotels in the nation's hospitality sector is expanding.
Marriot International is not the exception. As part of a management deal sealed between Marriot and Sunshine Construction plc, Sunshine has laid a corner stone in Hawassa town on last Sunday, May 8, 2014. The CEO and owner of Sunshine, Samuel Tefese was accompanied by the President of Southern Region, Dessie Dalkie and the city mayor of Hawassa, Yonas Yosef (middle) during the laying of the corner stone.
