August 22 2012-The 21 years of Meles Zenawi’s rule were continuation of brutalization and suffering of Sidamas people that have even worsened during his iron-fisted rule.  Now, Meles is gone, but the system he championed has continued preying on Sidama innocents. Even, as he was fighting for his life at undisclosed location, hundreds of Sidamas were unlawfully arrested and thrown into jails. The army that was deployed throughout the Sidama has continued intimidation and terrorizing Sidama people. The former president of South Nation Nationalities and People Regional Government and possible successor of Meles Zenawi, Hailemariam Desalegn, is the main architect of Loqqe massacre, one of worst atrocities ever committed on sidama soil. የሲዳማ ክልል ጥያቄን ኣንግቦ በተቀጣጠለው ህዝባዊ ንቅናቄ ህዝብን በመንግስት ላይ በማነሳሳት በምል ሃዋሳ ከተማን ጭምሮ በተለያዩ የሲዳማ ወረዳዎች በመንግስት የጸጥታ ኃይሎች ይካሄድ የነበረው ግለሰቦችን የማሰር እንቅስቃሴ ጋብ ብሏል። በኣለፉት ሶስት ሳምንታት ውስጥ ከሃምሳ በላይ የሚሆኑ ግለሰቦች መታሰራቸው የሚታወስ ሲሆን፤ ከታሰሩት ማካከል ካላ ብርሃኑ ሀንካራን ጨምሮ በዚህ ሳምንት መጀመሪያ ሃዋሳ ከተማ ከምገኘው ፍርድ ቤት የቀረቡ ወደ ኣስር የሚሆኑ ግለሰቦች ቀጠሮ ተሰጥቷቸው ወደ ማረሚያ ቤት ተመልሰዋል። ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ የቀድሞ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ኣቶ መለስ ዜናዊን ይተካሉ ተብሎ የሚጠበቁት የኣገሪቱ ምክትም ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር እና የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ኣቶ ኃይለማርያም ደሳለኝ በሲዳማ የክልል ጥያቄን በተመለከተ በምኖራቸው ኣቋም ላይ የተለያዩ ኣስተያዬቶች እየተሰጡ ነው። ያነጋገርናቸው  ካላ ደመቀ ዳንጋሞ እና ቤላሞ ባሻ   የሃዋሣ ከተማ ነዋሪዎች እንደምሉት ከሆነ፤ ኣቶ ኃይለማርያም ደሳለኝ ከሲዳማ ህዝብ ጋር የኖሩና ሲዳማን ህዝብ ጠንቅቀው የሚያውቁ በመሆናቸው ለክልል ጥያቄው ኣዎንታዊ ምላሽ ልሰጡ ይችላሉ። ይህንን ኣስተያየት የተቃረኑት ካላ ኣስፋ ላላንጎ እና ካላ ናኦራ ቡኤ በበኩላቸው፤ ኣቶ ኃይለማርያም ካለፉት ኣስር ዓመታት ጀምሮ ጸረ ሲዳማ ኣቋም ያላቸው እና ከኣስር ኣመታት በፊት በርካታ ሲዳማዎች በመንግስት የጸጥታ ኃይሎች እንዲገደሉ ካደረጉት የደቡብ ክልል ባላስልጣናት መካከል ኣንዱ በመሆናቸው የክልል ጥያቄውን በተመለከት የሚኖራቸው ኣቋም ኣዎንታዊ ልሆን ኣይችልም ብለዋል። ክቡራን የብሎጋችን ኣንባቢያን የሲዳማ ክልል ጥያቄ እና የወደፊት እጣ ፋንታ በተመለከተ ያላችሁን ኣስተያየት በሚከተለው ኣድራሻ ላኩልን፦ no
