አዲስ አበባ፣ ህዳር 2 (ኤፍ ቢ ሲ) የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከሰማንያ የሚበልጡ የምርምርና  ስርፀት ተግባራትን እያካሄደ ነው። ዩኒቨርሲቲው እያካሄዳቸው ያሉ የምርምርና ስርፀት ስራዎች የአካባቢውን ህብረተሰብ  ችግሮች ሊፈቱ የሚችሉ ናቸው። ግብርና፣ ትምህርትና ጤና በምርምርና ስርፀቱ ትኩረት ተሰጥቷቸው  እየተሰሩ ያሉ መሆናቸውን የዩኒቨርሲቲው የምርምርና ስርፀት ልማት ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶክተር ተስፋዬ አበበ ተናግረዋል።

አዲስ አበባ፣ ጥቅምት 28 (ኤፍ ቢ ሲ) የሃዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የማህበረሰብ ኤፍ ኤም ሬዲዮ ስርጭት ለመጀመር የሚስችል ዝግጅት እያደረገ ነው። በሬዲዮ ጣቢያው አስፈላጊነት ላይ ከባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር ትናንት በዩኒቨርሲቲው ውስጥ የጋራ ውይይት ተካሂዷል፡፡ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ዶክተር ዮሴፍ ማሞ በዚሁ ወቅት እንዳሉት  የማህበረሰብ ኤፍ ኤም  ሬዲዮ ጣቢያው ስርጭት ዓላማ የተቋሙን የመማር ማስተማር፣ የምርምርና የህብረተሰብ አገልገሎት ለአካባቢው ማህበረሰብ ለማስተዋወቅ ነው፡፡ ጣቢያው ለጊዜው በ50 ኪሎ ሜትር ዙሪያ አገልግሎቱን የሚጀመር ሲሆን ቀስ በቀስም  የስርጭት አድማሱን እንደሚያስፋፋ ጠቁመዋል። 

አዲስ አበባ፣ ጥቅምት 26 (ኤፍ ቢ ሲ) የሃዋሳ ዩንቨርሲቲ ግማሽ ቢሊየን ብር በሚሆን ወጭ አዲስ የቴክኖሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩት ሊያስገነባ ነው። በአሁኑ ወቅት  የኢንስቲትዩቱን  ግንባታ ለማስጀመር የሚያስችል ቅድመ ዝግጅት የተጠናቀቀ  ሲሆን ስራውም በአንድ  ወር ውስጥ  ይጀመራል  ተብሏል። ግንባታው የተማሪዎች  ማደሪያና የመማሪያ ክፍሎችን  ጨምሮ  ለተለያዩ  አገልግሎቶች የሚውሉ  ህንፃዎችን ያካተተ ነው። በሁለት ዓመት ጊዜ  ውስጥ  የኢንስቲትዩቱ ግንባታ  ሲጠናቀቅ  17 ሺ የነበረውን የዩኒቨርሲቲውን  የተማሪዎች ቅበላ አቅም ወደ 30 ሺ ከፍ እንደሚል በዩንቨርሲቲው የግንባታ ዘርፍ ዳይሬክተር አቶ ደንበሹ ኔኤሬ ለኤፍ ቢ ሲ  ተናግረዋል። እንደ ባልደረባችን ጥላሁን ካሳ ዘገባ የሃዋሳ ዩንቨርሲቲ ባለፉት 3 አመታት በ480 ሚሊየን ብር ሲያካሂድ የነበረውን የማስፋፊያ ግንባታ ሙሉ በሙሉ አጠናቋል።

South, October 23, 2011 (Hawassa) - Some 171,000 tons coffee will be supplied to the central market from South Ethiopia Peoples' State in the current Ethiopian budget year, the regional marketing and cooperatives bureau said. Speaking at a day long relevant workshop in Hawassa Town of the state on Saturday Deputy bureau head, Abraham Demissie said the amount will exceed by more than double that of same time in the previous budget year. More than 75,440 tons coffee was supplied to market during the last budget year. Abraham said a total of 290,000 tons of coffee is expected to be harvested in the region during the reported period. More than 100 private investors and representatives of associations took part in the workshop
