Hailemariam Desalegn Humiliated By Abebe Gellaw Posted By  Mesay  On July 23, 2014 @ 9:30 pm In  Ethiopia  | (AV) Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn faced a stinging humiliation as Azusa Pacific University (APU), whose motto is “God First”, has withdrawn an honor it had already bestowed on him. The university administration had to reverse its decision to honor Mr. Desalegn in light of gross human rights violations in Ethiopia being perpetrated by the regime he serves. The administration of the American evangelical university made the decision in an emergency meeting last Friday after this reporter raised a number of critical questions on whether honoring a human rights violator was consistent with APU’s core values and motto. The Global Alliance for the Rights of Ethiopians (GARE) also wrote a letter highlighting gross human rights violations being perpetrated by Mr. Desalegn and the TPLF-led regime he is serving. Heroye and Hawi soaked it in on their victory lap EUGENE -- Alemitu Heroye of Ethiopia held off teammate Alemitu Hawi on the home straight to win the women's 5,000 meters Wednesday in the IAAF World Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field. Heroye finished in 15 minutes, 10.08 seconds. Hawi went wide coming off the final turn in a bid to pass, but Heroye held her off to win. Hawi's time was 15:10.46, a personal record. Agnes Tirop of Kenya earned the bronze medal with a third-place finish in 15:43.12. The University of Oregon's Maggie Schmaedick placed 12th in 16:19.01. በኢትዮጵያ የፖለቲካ ምኅዋር ውስጥ እየታየ ያለው አካሄድ የሕዝቡን ፍላጎት መሠረት ማድረግ የተሳነው ይመስላል፡፡ ምንም ያህል ለሕዝብ ጥቅም ሲባል እንዲህና እንዲያ ተደረገ ቢባልም፣ በአገሪቱ ውስጥ የሚንቀሳቀሱ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች ሕዝብን ማዕከል እያደረጉ አይደሉም፡፡ ይህንንም በተለያዩ መገለጫዎች ማሳየት ይቻላል፡፡ ገዥው ፓርቲ ኢሕአዴግና ተቃዋሚ የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶችን ከዚህ አንፃር እንቃኛቸዋለን፡፡ ኢሕአዴግ ባለፉት ዓመታት ተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎችን ግማሽ መንገድ ድረስ ተጉዞ ለማወያየት ዝግጁ መሆኑን በተደጋጋሚ ቢገልጽም፣ ከምርጫ 97 በኋላ ይህንን ሐሳቡን ቀይሯል፡፡ እስካሁን ድረስ በጠንካራ ተቃዋሚዎች አለመኖር ደስተኛ አለመሆኑን የሚናገረው ኢሕአዴግ፣ ከተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች ጋር ተቀምጦ ለመነጋገር ፈቃደኛ አይደለም፡፡ መነጋገሩ ቀርቶ ተቃዋሚ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች በመኖራቸው በራሱ ደስተኛ አይመስልም፡፡ ተቃዋሚ የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶች ሰላማዊ ሠልፍ፣ ሕዝባዊ ስብሰባና መሰል ተግባራትን ለማካሄድ ሲንቀሳቀሱ የተለያዩ መሰናክሎችን ይፈጥራል፡፡ በሰበብ በአስባቡ ለቅስቀሳ የወጡ የፓርቲ አመራሮችንና አባላትን ያስራል፡፡ ለሚያቀርቡዋቸው የመብት ጥሰትና የዲሞክራሲ መጓደል ጥያቄዎች ምላሽ አይሰጥም፡፡ በርካታ አቤቱታዎችና ጥያቄዎች እንዳሉዋቸው ሲናገሩ ለማዳመጥ ፍላጎት የለውም፡፡  ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ ደግሞ አጠቃላይ የፖለቲካ ሥነ ምኅዳሩን ከማጣበብ አልፎ የሚያዳፍን ሁኔታ እየታየ ነው፡፡ በሰላማዊ የፖለቲካ ትግል ውስጥ ነን ያለነው እያሉ የሚወተውቱ የተቃዋሚ ፖለቲካ ፓርቲ አመራሮችና አባላት በሽብርተኝነት እየተከሰሱ ናቸው፡፡ የፍርድ ሒደቱን በተመለከተ ለጊዜው የምንለው ባይኖርም፣ በሰላማዊ የፖለቲካ እንቅስቃሴ ውስጥ የሽብርተኝነት ነገር ሲመጣ ብዙዎችን ያስደነግጣል፡፡ ገዥው

- ከሚመስሏት አገሮች ዝቅተኛ ተወዳዳሪነት አላት - መንግሥት የገንዘብ ምንዛሪ ተመን አላስተካክልም አለ የዓለም ባንክ ለሦስተኛ ጊዜ ባካሄደው የቅርብ ጊዜ የኢትዮጵያ ኢኮኖሚ ጥናት፣ ኢትዮጵያ በአሥር ዓመት ውስጥ አስከፊ የተባለውን የወጪ ንግድ አፈጻጸም ማስመዝገቧን አመለከተ፡፡ መንግሥት የኤክስፖርት ዘርፍ መዳከሙን አምኗል፡፡  በባንኩ ዋና ኢኮኖሚስትና የፕሮግራም መሪ የሆኑት ዶ/ር ላርስ ክርስቲያን ሞለር፣ ‹‹ባለፉት 18 ወራት በተለይ አገሪቱ እያሽቆለቆለ የመጣ የወጪ ንግድ ውጤት አስመዝግባለች፤›› ብለዋል፡፡ ቀድሞውንም ለውድድር ተጋላጭ በሆኑ የግብርና ውጤቶች ላይ የተመሠረተው የአገሪቱ ኤክስፖርት ዘርፍ፣ ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ በዓለም ላይ በታየው የሸቀጦች ዋጋ መቀነስ የተነሳ፣ አጣብቂኝ ውስጥ በመግባቱ ነው አስከፊ የተባለውን አፈጻጸም ያስመዘገበው፡፡ ባለፉት ሦስት ዓመታት ውስጥ ያሳየው ለውጥ ከሁለት እስከ ሦስት ከመቶ ዝቅ ያለ መሆኑን፣ ዓምና ጭራሽ ከዜሮ በታች አሽቆልቁሎ እንደነበርም ባንኩ አስታውሷል፡፡  87 በመቶ የሚደርሱት ጥቃቅንና አነስተኛ ተቋማት ከአነስተኛ ገንዘብ አቅራቢዎች የብድር አቅርቦት እንደሚያገኙ፣ ከ94 በመቶ በላይ የሚሆኑት ትልልቅ ድርጅቶች ደግሞ ባንኮች ፋይናንስ እንደሚያደርጓቸው የባንኩ ጥናት ያመለክታል፡፡ በሁለቱ መካከል የሚገኙት አነስተኛና መካከለኛ ድርጅርቶች ግን ብድር እያገኙ እንዳልሆነ ተጠቁሟል፡፡ መሀል ላይ የተረሱ ወይም ‹‹ዘ ሚሲንግ ሚድል›› በሚል በባንኩ የተገለጹት ድርጅቶች ከባንክ የሚያገኙት ፋይናንስ ስድስት በመቶ ብቻ መሆኑን፣ ከአነስተኛ የገንዘብ ድርጅቶች ብድር የሚያገኙ ጥቃቅንና አነስተኛ ተቋማት ደግሞ 11 ከመቶ ናቸው፡፡ ይህ በመሆኑም አነስተኛና መካከለኛ ድርጅቶች ወደላይ እንዳያድጉና ኤክስፖር

Ethiopia ’s birr is overvalued and the country would benefit from a devaluation to boost export revenue and accelerate economic growth, the World Bank said. Reducing the currency’s value by 10 percent in real terms may lead to a 5 percent increase in stalled export earnings and a 2 percent increase in growth, Lars Moller, the bank’s chief economist in Ethiopia, told reporters today in the capital, Addis Ababa. Ethiopia last devalued its currency by 17 percent against the dollar in September 2010. Since then, the birr has appreciated in real terms by more than 50 percent, leading to a currency that’s overvalued by 31 percent, Moller said at a presentation of the lender’s third  Ethiopia Economic Update . The downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in Ukraine on Thursday left many travelers wondering about other unsafe conflict zones. U.S. carriers last week said they would no longer fly over eastern Ukraine after Flight 17 was shot down reportedly by pro-Russian separatists. On Tuesday, the  FAA  issued a 24-hour ban  on flights to Tel Aviv, Israel, after reports of an explosion near the city’s  Ben Gurion International Airport . ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia — Complaining of bullying in the international justice arena, African leaders are forging ahead with plans to set up their own regional court — and give themselves immunity in the process. The African Union (AU) accuses the Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC) of anti-African bias and racism, and plans for a home-grown mechanism are inflaming a stand-off over who deals out justice in Africa. In a decision last month, AU leaders unanimously agreed to grant sitting heads of state and senior government officials immunity from prosecution at the African Court for Human and Peoples’ Rights, which is not expected to get off the ground for several years. The Hague-based ICC rules that no one is protected from prosecution, but many African leaders are quick to point out that all of the ICC’s eight cases are against Africans. ኢትዮጵያ ዉስጥ ለመድበለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓት ጥርጊያ የሚከፍተዉ በነፃ የመደራጀት መብት በሕገ መንግስት ተደንግጎ እንቅስቃሴ ከተጀመረ ከሁለት አስርት ዓመታት ያላነሰ ጊዜ አስቆጥሯል። በዚህ ጊዜም በሥልጣን ላይ ያለዉን ማለትም ገዢዉን ፓርቲ ለመፎካከር በርካታ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች እየተቋቋሙ ፈርሰዋል። ተጠናክረዉ የቀጠሉም ቁጥራቸዉ በጣት ተቆጥሮ የሚወሰን አይደለም። የፓርቲዎቹ ዳራና መርሕ እንደየተነሱለት ዓላማ ብሔራዊና ጎሳዊ ሊሆን ብችልም ድምፃቸዉ ግን ተመሳሳይ ነዉ። ሁሉም ለዉጥን ያዜማሉ፤ እነሱ የሚያልሙት ለዉጥ እንዲኖርም የየራሳቸዉን ስልት ይከተላሉ ወይም እንከተላለን ይላሉ። በተለይ ከ1997 ወዲህ ስለሥርዓት ለዉጥ ደጋግመዉ ሲናገሩ ቢደመጥም ተባበሩ ሲባል ሲበታተኑ፤ ጠነከሩ ሲባል ሲዳከሙ መታየቱ ጉዟቸዉ ገና ሩቅ መሆኑን በግልፅ ማመላከቱን ብዙዎች ይስማማሉ። እነሱ ለመበተን፣ መዳከማቸዉ ፈርጣማ ክንዱን በየአቅጣጫዉ የሚያሳያቸዉ ገዢዉን ፓርቲ ተጠያቂ ያደርጋሉ። ገዢዉ ፓርቲ ማለትም መንግስት ደግሞ የራሱን ትችት አልፎ ተርፎም ዉግዘት ይሰነዝራል። ቁጣዉ ሲንርም እስር ቤት የሚወረዉራቸዉ ተቃዋሚ ፖለቲከኞች ከዕለት ወደዕለት ቁጥራቸዉ እየጨመረ ነዉ። ሙሉዉን ዉይይት ከድምፅ ዘገባዉ ያድምጡ! የኢትዮጵያ የተቃዉሞ ፓርቲዎች ወቅታዊ ይዞታ

ጭንቀትና ስነ ልቦናዊ መፍትሄው ተጻፈ በ ኣዲስ ኣዲማስ ጋዜጣ   ከወንድወሰን ተሾመ የማህበራዊ ሳይንስና የስነ ልቦና ባለሙያ  (ከአልታ ምርምር ሥልጠናና ካውንስሊንግ) ጭንቀት ምንድን ነው? ጭንቀት የሰውነትን ተፈጥሯዊ ሚዛን የሚያዛባ የአካል፣የአዕምሮና የስሜት ትንኮሳ(stimulus) የሚፈጥረው  ምላሽ፣ ወይም የአንድ ሰው  ፍላጎት (demand) ሊያንቀሳቅሰው ከሚችለው የግልና የማህበራዊ ሃብቶች አቅም በላይ ሆኖ ሲታየው የሚፈጠር ስሜት፣  ወይም ነገሮች ና ሁኔታዎች ከቁጥጥራችን  እንደወጡ ስናስብ የሚፈጠር ስሜት ነው፡፡ መጠኑና ጊዜው ይለያይ እንጂ ጭንቀት የማይነካው ሰው እንደሌላ ይታወቃል፡፡ በአንድ ወቀት በአንድ ኮሌጅ ውስጥ የሳይኮሎጂ ኮርስ ሳስተምር አንድ ተማሪ አንድ ከፍተኛ ባለስልጣንን ጠቅሶ “እንዴት እሳቸው ይጨነቃሉ?” በማለት ሰውየው ከማንኛውም ጭንቀት በየትኛውም ሁኔታና  ጊዜ ነፃ ናቸው ብሎ እንደሚያምን ገልጾ እንደተሟገተ ትዝ ይለኛል፡፡ ሆኖም በየትኛውም የስልጣን እርከን ወይም የሥራ ሃላፊነት ላይ ብንሆን በጥቂቱም ቢሆን በተለያየ ጊዜና ሁኔታ ጭንቀት ወደ እኛ ሊመጣ ይችላል፡፡ የሚወጡ ሳይንሳዊ መረጃዎች ደግሞ ሃላፊነትና ውሳኔ ሰጪነት ሲጨምር ጭንቀት እንደሚጨምር ይጠቁማሉ፡፡ ለዚህም ነው ባለስልጣናት፣ ስራ አሰኪያጆች፣ ዲሬክተሮች፣ ሥራ ሃላፊዎች በጭንቀት መቆጣጠሪያ (stress management strategies) ስልቶች እንዲሰለጥኑ መደረግ ያለበት፡፡ በማንኛውም ደረጃ የሚሰራና ከስራ ውጪም የሆነ ሰው የጭንቀት መቆጣጠሪያ  ስልቶችን መሰልጠኑ፤ማወቁና መተግበሩ የተረጋጋ ህይወት እንዲመራ ይረዳዋል፡፡ ጭንቀት ውሳኔን የማዛባትና ትኩረትን የመቀነስ ሃይል ስላለው የጭንቀት መቆጣጠሪያ ስልቶችን ማወቅና መሰልጠን ይገባቸዋል፡፡ የጭንቀት ምንጮች
