While the former voiced genuine concerns that the regime is abusing the basic rights of the Sidama people by unlawfully harassing and imprisoning innocent civilians for voicing their basic rights for regional self-administration, the responses provided by the EPRDF administrator are regrettably unbalanced, out of touch with the reality on the ground and are deceitful. We all know that Dukale Lamisso, Abate Kimo Hokola, Iyasu Ragassa, Boshola Gabisso and many other Sidama civilians have never committed any crime except stating publicly that as a nation with 3.4 million people, Sidama has both natural and constitutional right to regional self-administration. ቢሮው  በ2ዐዐ4 በጀት ዓመት በክልሉ የሚገኙ 77 ወረዳዎችና የከተማ አስተዳደሮች የምቦላንስ ተጠቃሚ እንዲሆኑ ያስቻለ ሲሆን በቀሪዎቹ 8ዐ በቀጣይ 4 ወራት ጊዜ ውስጥ የማዳረስ ስራ እንደሚሰራ በቢሮው የህክምናና ታህድሶ የስራ ሂደት ባለቤት አቶ ሀብታሙ ገልፀዋል፡፡ አምቦላንሶቹ ከአርግዝናና ከወሊድ ጋር በተያያዘ  የሚከሰቱ የእናቶችን ሞት ፣  በአጣዳፊ፣ በሽታዎች እንዲሁም በተለያዩ አደጋዎች የሚከሰቱ ጉዳቶችን ለመግታት ጥቅም ላይ መዋል እንዳለባቸው አመልክተዋል፡፡ የወረዳና የከተማ አስተዳዳሪዎች እንዲሁም የጤና ጽህፈት ቤት ኃላፊዎች ተገቢውን ቁጥጥር ማድረግ እንዳለባቸውም በመጠቆም፡፡ ይህን ተግባራዊ ለማድረግም በክልል ደረጃ  የአንቡላንስ አገልግሎት አጠቃቀምና አስተዳደር መመሪያ መውጣቱንና በሁሉም ተቋማት ውስጥ ተግባራዊ እንደሚደረግ መናገራቸውን ባልደረባችን ወንድወሰን ሽመልስ ከዲላ ከተማ ዘግቧል፡፡

አዋሳ መስከረም 12/2005 በኢትዮጵያ ማንበብና መጻፍ የማይችሉ ከ20 ሚሊዮን የሚበልጡ ዜጎችን በተቀናጀ ተግባር ተኮር የጎልማሶች ትምህርት መርሃ ግብር ተጠቃሚ ለማድረግ ትኩረት ተስጥቶ እየሰራ መሆኑን የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ገለጸ፡፡ አለም አቀፍ የመሰረተ ትምህርት ቀን በዓል በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ " የጎልማሶች ትምህርት ለዘላቂ ሰላም " በሚል መሪ ቃል በሀዋሳ ከተማ ከትናንት ጀምሮ በመከበር ላይ ይገኛል፡፡ በበአሉ ላይ የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የአጠቃላይ ትምህርት ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ አቶ ፉአድ ኢብራሂም እንደገለጹት ጎልማሶች ከዕለት ተዕለት ስራቸውና ህይወታቸው ጋር የተያያዘ ጤናቸውን በመጠበቅ ምርታማነታቸውን እንዲያሻሻሉ ትምህርትና ስልጠና እንዲያገኙ ማድረግ ጊዜ የሚሰጠው ጉዳይ አይደለም፡፡ የምዕተ አመቱን የልማትና የትምህርት ግቦችን ከዳር ለማድረስ በተለይም የዕድገትና ትራንስፎርሜሽን ዕቅድን ለማሳካት ጎልማሶች ከፍተኛ አስተዋጾኦ እንደሚያበርክቱ አስረድተዋል፡፡ በአሁኑ ወቅት በአለማችን 796 ሚሊዮን በሀገራችን ደግሞ 20 ነጥብ 4 ሚሊዮን ጎልማሶች ማንበብና መጻፍ እንደማይችሉ አመልክተው በተለይ በትራንስፎርሜሽን እቅዱ አመት መጨራሻ ሁሉንም ጐልማሶች ለማብቃት ትኩረት መሰጠቱን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ለዚህም የተቀናጀ ተግባር ተኮር የጎልማሶች ትምህርት መርሀ ግብር ተዘጋጅቶ ተጠቃሚ ለማድረግ ከፍተኛ እንቅስቃሴ በመደረግ ላይ ይገኛል ብለዋል፡፡ ለድህነት መወገድና ለሀገራችን ዕድገት በጽኑ ይመኙና ለስኬታማነቱ የዕድገትና ትራንስፎርሜሽን ዕቅድ ቀያሽ የነበሩት ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር መለስ ዜናዊ " ሁሉም ትምህርት ቤቶች ፣ የገበሬ ማሰልጠኛ ጣቢያዎችና የጤና ኬላዎች ማንበብና መጻፍ ለማይችሉ የተቀናጀ ተግባር ተኮር የጎልማሶች ትምህርት ለማዳረስ ከፍተኛ አስተዋጾኦ

A concerted propaganda campaign has been launched inside and outside Ethiopia to present the new PM in Addis Abeba, Haile Mariam Desalegn as a technocrat with no history of human rights violation. አቤ ቶኪቻው   ኃይለማርያም ደሳለኝ በጠቅላይ ሚኒስቴሩ ወንበር ላይ ለመቀመጥ ቤተመንግስቱ በራፍ ላይ ቆመዋል። ለነገሩ እንኳ ሰውየው ደጃፍ ላይ ከቆሙ ቆይተዋል። ነገር ግን የኢህአዴግ ሰዎች “አናስገባም ሰርገኛ እደጅ ይቆይ…” ብለው ደጅ ሲያስጠኗቸው ሰነባበቱ። ይገበሉ ተብሎ ሲጠበቅ የነበረው ቢያንስ ኢቲቪ እና የመንግስት “ባሉካዎች” የጠቅላይ ሚኒስሩን ሞት በሰሙ በሁለት እና ሶስት ቀናት ውስጥ ነበር። ነገር ግን ይኸው ዛሬም ገና ፓርላማው ጠቅላይነታቸውን እስኪያፀድቅላቸው እንደ ቆሎ ተማሪ ደጅ መቆም ግዴታቸው ሆኗል። አቶ ሀይለማሪያም የኢህአዴግ ሊቀመንበርነትን ስልጣን ከያዙ በኋላ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ “ሲሲቲቪ” ለተበለ ቴሌቪዥን ጣቢያ በሰጡት ቃል “የእኔ አመራር የጋራ አመራር መርህን የተከተለ ነው” ካሉ በኋላ፤ “እንደሚታወቀው የመለስም አመራር ለግለሰብ የበላይነት ቦታ የማይሰጥ የቡድን ስራ የጎላበት አመራር ነበር” ብለው የማናውቀውን ነገር ነግረውናል። እውነቱን ለመናገር እኛ የምናውቀው አቶ መለስ “ሁሉን ቻይ” የነበሩና ሁልገዜም ብቻቸውን እንጂ በጋራ ሲሰሩ አላየንም። እርግጥ ደንብ ነውና ሙትን ሲያነሱ ደግ ደጉን ነው። ስለዚህ ስለ መለስ የሚያወሩት በሙሉ ፅቡቅ ፅቡቁን ቢሆን ግድ የለም… መምህር ኃይለማሪያም ሆይ መለስን ለአሁኑ እንተዋቸው እና በእርስዎ ጉዳይ እናውጋ… እናልዎ… አሁን ሜዳው ሜዳውም ፈረሱም በእጅዎ ነው። እንግዲህ በቅጡ መጋለብ የእርስዎ ፈንታ ነው። መምህር ሆይ ይቅርታ አንድ ጊዜ ወደ መለስ መለስ እንበልና አንድ ነገር ሹክ ልበልዎትማ ባለፈው ጊዜ የመለስ ለቅሶ ላይ ጥቁር በጥቁር ለብሶ “እንባ የተራጨው” ህዝቡ ሁላ ከኢህአዴግ ጎን ነው ስለዚህ እንዳሻኝ እሆናለሁ ብለው እንዳይሸወዱ… ልብ ያድርጉልኝ “እንባ የተራጨው” የምትለዋ ቃል ራሱ

New በየማነ ናግሽ የኢሕአዴግ ምክር ቤት ባለፈው ቅዳሜ ስብሰባውን አጠናቆ አዲሱን ሊቀመንበርና ምክትል ሊቀመንበር ከመረጠ በኋላ፣ የሥራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴው ባወጣው መግለጫ በሰላማዊ መንገድ ከሚንቀሳቀሱ ተቃዋሚዎች ጋር መተባበር እንደሚፈልግ ጥሪ አቅርቧል፡፡ ጥሪውን በበጎ ጎኑ የተመለከቱ ተቃዋሚዎች ለተግባራዊነቱ ኢሕአዴግ ቁርጠኛ እንዲሆንና “የጋራ ምክር ቤት” በሚል ብቻ የተወሰነ እንዳይሆን አሳሰቡ፡፡ ተቃዋሚዎች በታላቁ መሪ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር መለስ ዜናዊ ሕልፈት አብረው ማዘናቸውን የገለጸው የኢሕአዴግ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴ፣ የአገሪቱን የመድብለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓት ለማጠናከር በሚያግባቡ የተለያዩ አገራዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ በጋራ ለመሥራት ጥሪ አቅርቧል፡፡ በተለይ ደግሞ መጪውን የአካባቢና የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ምርጫ በተመለከተ ሒደቱ ነፃና ፍትሐዊ ይሆን ዘንድ ከተቃዋሚዎች ጋር ለመመካከር ዝግጁ መሆኑን ኢሕአዴግ የገለጸ ሲሆን፣ “በጋራ ምክር ቤቱ” አማካይነት ማለቱ ግን ተቃዋሚዎችን አላስደሰተም፡፡ በጉዳዩ ላይ ያነጋገርናቸው የኢዴፓ ሊቀመንበር አቶ ሙሼ ሰሙ፣ ኢሕአዴግ ያቀረበውን የመነጋገርና የመተባበር ጥሪ በተለይ ተነሳሽነት መውሰዱን አድንቀው፣ ላለፉት 21 ዓመታት ሲታገሉለት የነበረና የሚጠብቁት መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ጉዳዩ ሕገ መንግሥታዊ መብታቸውም ጭምር መሆኑን ገልጸው፣ ኢሕአዴግ እንደተለመደው ሰጪና ከልካይ የሚያደርጉ ቅድመ ሁኔታዎችን እንዳያስቀምጥ ግን ይጠይቃሉ፡፡ ሥልጣን ከሕዝብ የሚመነጭ መሆኑን የሚያምኑት አቶ ሙሼ፣ ከኢሕአዴግ ጋር መነጋገር የሚፈልጉት ሥልጣን ለመጋራት ሳይሆን በሕገ መንግሥቱ የተቀመጡ ዲሞክራሲያዊና ሰብዓዊ መብቶች እንዲከበሩ መሆኑን በዋናነት ይገልጻሉ፡፡ ነፃና ገለልተኛ ተቋማት የሚፈጠሩበት ሁኔታ ማመቻቸት፣ ፖለቲካዊ ምኅዳሩ የሚሰፋበት፣

Haile Mariam Desalegn, 47, and a former University Professor at Arba Minch Water Technology, who was elected as the country’s new PM over the weekend,  is the first leader of Ethiopia from the South in the history of the country. Despite talks of continued behind the scene rule by the Tigray ruling elite; I assume that it is not entirely feasible to have two puppet leaders in one country- the President and the PM- at the same time. New Berhanu Legesse Hailemariam, deputy general manager of the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union, will be at Cafe Campesino Coffee House in Americus on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m.   He will be joining staff members of Cooperative Coffees, North America’s only green bean importing cooperative of roasters, to discuss the coffee supply chain.  The general public is encouraged to attend.
