ታላቁ የኢትዮጵያ ህዳሴ ግድብ ግንባታ እስኪጠናቀቅ ከቦንድ ግዥ በተጨማሪ በምርምር ስራ አስፈላጊውን ሙያዊ ድጋፍ ለማድረግ መዘጋጀቱን የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አስታወቀ፡፡ የህዳሴ ግድቡን ዋንጫ አቀባበል ምክንያት በማድረግ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ተማሪዎች፣ መምህራንና ሰራተኞች ለግድቡ ግንባታ ከ30 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ድጋፍ አድርገዋል፡፡ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ አያኖ በራሶ ዛሬ ለኢዜአ እንደገለጹት ታላቁ የኢትዮጵያ ህዳሴ ግድብ ግንባታ እስኪጠናቀቅ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ማህበረሰብ ድጋፉን አጠናክሮ ለመቀጠል ቃል ገብቷል፡፡ የህዳሴ ግድቡ ግንባታ የመሰረት ድንጋይ ከተጣለበት ጊዜ አንስቶ በቦንድ ግዥ፣ በዕውቀትና በክልሉ በግድቡ ዙሪያ በሚደረጉ የውይይት መድረኮች የተቋሙ ምሁራን ሙያዊ ማብራሪያ በመስጠት ድጋፍ ሲያደርጉ መቆየታቸውን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በምርምር ረገድም ራሱን የቻለ የውሀ ዘርፍ እንዳለው ጠቁመው በቀጣይም የአባይ ውሀ ሀገሪቱ የበለጠ መጠቀም የምትችልበትን ሁኔታን በጥናት በመለየት አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍ ለማድረግ ዝግጁ መሆናቸውን አቶ አያኖ ገልጸዋል፡፡ የህዳሴ ግድቡ ዋንጫ ሀዋሳ መግባቱን ተከትሎ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ተማሪዎች፣ መምህራንና ሰራተኞች በስጦታና በቦንድ ግዥ ከ30 ሚሊዮን ብር ድጋፍ ማድረጋቸውንም አመልክተዋል፡፡ በግላቸው ለሶስተኛ ጊዜ በወር ደመወዛቸው የቦንድ ግዥ መፈጸማቸውንም ጠቁመዋል፡፡ በዩኒቨርሲቲው የኬሚስትሪ የትምህርት መስክ የሶስተኛ ዓመት ተማሪ ዮርዳኖስ ገብረስላሴ በበኩሏ የአባይ ወንዝ ለሀገሩ ጥቅም እንዲሰጥ የግድቡ መገንባት የሚኖረው ፋይዳ ከፍተኛ እንደሆነ ጠቅሳ የታላቁ የህዳሴ ግድብ ዋንጫ ወደ ዩኒቨርሲቲው መምጣቱ እንዳስደሰታት ተናግራለች፡፡ የኮምፒውተር ሳይንስ የአራተኛ ዓመት ተማሪው  ታደሰ አይጠገብ በሰጠው አስተ

Photo @ The Ethiopian government on Friday announced a ban on protest rallies across the country, the state-owned  ENA  reports. The move according to the authorities is part of a national security plan aimed at consolidating peace and stability in the country. The defense minister, Siraj Fagessa, in a press briefing after a national security council discussion said the ban was a consensus decision by the council with the aim of preventing deaths and destruction of properties across the country. The minister, however, admitted that parts of the country were becoming volatile after the lifting of the 10 – month state of emergency but Ethiopia was largely peaceful in its current state. The government has also vowed to prosecute officials complicit in compromising state security. He disclosed further that the current security plan had been developed at the national level but with support of all regional states and with ‘feedback from foreign countries.’ Regional states were to

November 9, 2017 - Ethiopia’s government expressed that it is taking a range of measures to reverse the trend of brain drain, reports the Ethiopian News Agency. The work aimed to attracting knowledge and expertise from the Diaspora is being undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with domestic private organizations and Diaspora associations.   The Ethiopian Diasporas, estimated to be at 2.5 million, are considered as huge untapped resource of human capital which clearly is vital for the development of the country.   Director-General of Diaspora Engagement Affairs at the Ministry, Demeke Atnafu, said that efforts are being exerted to encourage them to come and invest their expertise, knowledge, skill and experience in various areas.   “There is a new trend emerging among Ethiopian professionals abroad, rather than making a private and individual effort, they are convinced that if they come together they could make a massive impact and make a difference” he stated
