The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) has revoked the award given to Keangnam Enterprises Limited and has issued a re-bid for Meki- Zeway section of the Modjo- Hawassa Expressway project. The cancellation comes after a warning from the Export- Import Bank of Korea, the entity financing the road project. The project is worth USD 100 million, will be only open for bidding by Korean construction companies, according of the bid announcement published on the Ethiopian Herald on August 5. Lately, the Export- Import Bank of Korea evaluated Keangnam’s capacity in Ethiopia and suggested that ERA cancels the agreement. It was in February 2015 that ERA announced it had selected Keangnam to construct the 37 kilometer road. The road was expected to begin this budget year. Keangnam Enterprises is under investigation on suspicion of embezzlement in its country, South Korea. A comprehensive review of internal company emails leaked in July 2015 reveals that the company continued to train Ethiopian intelligence agents to hack into computers and negotiated additional contracts despite multiple reports that its services were being used to repress government critics and other independent voices.  The Italian government should investigate Hacking Team practices in Ethiopia and elsewhere with a view toward restricting sales of surveillance technology likely to facilitate human rights abuses, Human Rights Watch said. ግንባታው እየተጠናቀቀ ያለውና 40 ሺ ሰዎችን መያዝ የሚችለው የሀዋሳ ስታዲየም የውድድሩ ድምቀት እንደሚሆን ይጠበቃል፤ 8 ኛው የፌዴራል ስፖርት ምክር ቤት መደበኛ ጉባኤ ከትናንት በስቲያ በተጠናቀቀበት ወቅት በ 2008 ዓም የሚካሄደውን የ 5 ኛውን መላ ኢትዮጵያ ጨዋታዎች እቅድ ሰነድ አጽድቋል። ውድድሩን የሀዋሳ ከተማ ታስተናግዳለች። ጉባኤው ሰነዱን ያጸደቀው ከትናንት በስቲያ በተናቀቀበት ወቅት ነው። በ 1999 ዓም የተጀመረውና ሁሉንም ክልሎች ባሳተፈ መልኩ የሚካሄደው የመላ አፍሪካ ጨዋታዎች የኦሎምፒክን ጽንሰ ሃሳብን ይከተላል። በየሁለት ዓመቱ የሚዘጋጀው ይህ ውድድር ብዛት ባለው የስፖርት ዓይነት ብዛት ያላቸውን ስፖርተኞች በማሳተፍም ይታወቃል። በ 2008 ዓ . ም የሚካሄደው የ 5 ኛው መላ ኢትዮጵያ ጨዋታም በደቡብ ብሄር ብሄረሰቦችና ህዝቦች ክልል በሃዋሳ ከተማ የሚዘጋጅ ይሆናል። የጨዋታው እቅድ ሰነድም በፌዴራል ስፖርት ኮሚሽን የስፖርት ተሳትፎና ውድድር ፌስቲቫል ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር አቶ ተስፋዬ በቀለ ቀርቧል። በዕቅዱም ላይ በሃዋሳ ከተማ በሚዘጋጀው ውድድር ተጫዋቾችን፣ አሰልጣኞችን፣ የቡድን መሪዎችንና ሌሎችንም ጨምሮ 4 ሺ 150 የሚሆኑ የልኡካን ቡድን አባላት ይሳተፉበታል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል። በዚህም መሰረት ከጥር 1 እስከ መጋቢት 30 ቀን 2008 ዓ . ም ድረስ ክልሎች ዝግጅታቸውንና የተጫዋቾች መረጣቸውን እንደሚጨርሱ በእቅዱ ላይ ተገልጿል። በዚህም መሰረት የክልሉ መንግስት ባለፈው ዓመት አዘጋጅ ከነበረው የኦሮሚያ ክልል መልካም ተሞክሮዎችን እንዳገኘ ተገልጿል። ክልሉ ለውድድሩ ማካሄጃ የሚያውላቸው የስፖርት ማዘውተሪያ ስፍራዎች ዝግጅት ከወዲሁ ተጀምሯል። አዲሱ የሃዋሳ ከተማ ስታዲየም፣ የደቡብ ክልል ፖሊስ ሜዳ እንዲሁም
