-    ፕሮጀክቱ የተቋረጠው የአውሮፓ ኢንቨስትመንት ባንክ ውሉን በማፍረሱ ነው የውኃና ኢነርጂ ሚኒስቴር ከዓመታት በፊት ከ800 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ወጪ የጀመረው የ15 ከተሞች የመጠጥ ውኃ ፕሮጀክት ተቋረጠ፡፡ የፕሮጀክቱን ወጪ ብድር የሰጠው የአውሮፓ ኢንቨስትመንት ባንክ ውሉን ማፍረሱ ለፕሮጀክቱ መቋረጥ ምክንያት መሆኑን ምንጮች ገልጸዋል፡፡ በአማራ፣ በኦሮሚያ፣ በደቡብና በትግራይ ክልሎች ለሚገኙ 15 ከተሞች የመጠጥ ውኃ አቅርቦት ለማሻሻልና 500 ሺሕ ዜጎችን ተጠቃሚ ለማድረግ ከሦስት ዓመታት በፊት የተጀመረውን ፕሮጀክት በሁለት ዓመታት ውስጥ ለማጠናቀቅ ዕቅድ ተይዞ ነበር፡፡  ፕሮጀክቱ የሚፈጀውን ከ800 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ወይም 36 ሚሊዮን ዩሮ በብድር የለገሱት የአውሮፓ ኮሚሽንና የአውሮፓ ኢንቨስትመንት ባንክ በጋራ በመሆን ነበር፡፡  በዚህ ከፍተኛ ገንዘብ ፕሮጀክቱ በ15 ከተሞች ቢጀመርም በተያዘለት ጊዜ መጠናቀቅ ባለመቻሉ፣ የአውሮፓ ኢንቨስትመንት ባንክ የሰጠውን 16 ሚሊዮን ዩሮ ብድር ውል ለማፍረስ መገደዱን ምንጮች ያስረዳሉ፡፡  በጉዳዩ ላይ የተጠየቁት የውኃና ኢነርጂ ሚኒስትሩ አቶ ዓለማየሁ ተገኑ ለፕሮጀክቱ መጓተት ኮንትራክተሮችን ወቅሰዋል፡፡ ኮንትራክተሮቹ በባንኩ የጨረታ ሕግ ተገምግመው ሥራው ቢሰጣቸውም ደካማ በመሆናቸው ፕሮጀክቱን በጊዜው መፈጸም አለመቻላቸውን ገልጸዋል፡፡ ከኮንትራክተሮቹ ላይ ለመንጠቅ በባንኩ አሠራር የተነሳ በመቸገሩ ሥራው መጓተቱን፣ በውሉ መሠረት ፕሮጀክቱ በጊዜው ባለመጠናቀቁ ውሉ ሊቋረጥ ምክንያት ሆኗል ብለዋል፡፡ ከዚህ ጉዳት በመነሳትም የውኃ ሥራ ኮንትራክተሮች ከዚህ በኋላ ፈቃዳቸውን ሊያድሱ የሚችሉት ብቃታቸው ተገምግሞ እንደሚሆን፣ በዚህ ፕሮጀክት ላይ ጉዳት ያደረሱትንም

ስልጣናቸውን መከታ በማድረግ በደቡክ ክልል ፕሬዚዳንት በነበሩበት ጊዜ በቤተሰቦቻቸው እና በሃዋርያት ቤተክርስቲያን መሪዎች ስም በመሬት ቅርሚያ እና ችብቸባ ስራ ላይ ተሰማርተው ነበር ሲሉ አንድ ከአዋሳ ግለሰብ የመጡ ማስረጃቸውን አያይዘው ለሙስና ኮሚሽን ጥቆማ መስጠታቸውን አንዲት በኮሚሽኑ ውስጥ የሚሰሩ ግለሰብ ለምንሊክ ሳልሳዊ ተናግረዋል::ግለሰቧ እንዳሉት ወደ ኮሚሽኑ የመጡት ሰው የክልሉ ከፍተኛ የመንግስት ባለስልጣናት አማካሪ የነበሩ ሲሆንጥቆማውን እና ማስረጃቸውን የተቀበሏቸው በቀጠሮ ኮሚሽነር አሊ ሲሆኑ ለረዥም ሰአት ተነጋግረዋል:: በአቶ ሃይለማርያም ላይ የመጣው ጥቆማ እንደሚያመለክተው ብስልጣናቸው ተጠቅመው በኢናታቸው እና በአባታቸው ቤተሰቦች ስም እንዲሁም በቤተ ክርስቲያን መሪዎች ስም ለተለያየ ጊዜ መሬቶችን በመውሰድና በመሸጥ ሰፋፊ እርሻዎችን በመያዝ የቡና እና የፍራፍሬ ተክሎችን ወደ ኬንያ በኮንትሮባንድ በመላክ የኢትዮጵያን ድንበር ተገን በማድረግ በህገወጥ ንግድ እና የመሳሪያ ንግድ ላይ ለተሰማሩ ሰዎች ከለላ በመስጠት የተለያዩ ስኮላርሺፖችን በማስመጣት እና በመሸጥ እንዲሁም ከትግሬ ጄኔራሎች ጋር በመተባበር የሃሰት ሰንዶችን በማዘጋጀት የመንግስት እና የህዝብ ንብረቶችን ዘርፎ በማዘረፍ የሚሉ እና ተመሳሳይነት ያላቸው ጥቆማዎች እንደተሰጡ ግለሰቧ ገልጸዋል:: አዲስ አበባን ጨምሮ በተለያዩ ቦታዎች በሃዋርያት ቤተክርስቲያን ስም የራሳቸውን ህንጻ ገንብተዋል እየገነቡም ነው ለመገንባትም የታሰቡ ፕሮጀክቶች አሉ የሚል ተደራራቢ የህንጻ ግንባት ጥቆማ ተደርጎባቸዋል:: ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘ የሃዋርያት ቤት ክርስቲያን አቶ ሃይለማርያምን እና ሌሎች ባለስልጣናትን ተገን በማድረግ በሙስና መጨማለቋን እኚሁ ግለሰብ ከሰጡት ጥቆማ ጋር የተገለጸ ሲሆን

Hawassa is a surprisingly and refreshingly clean city. When we traveled to the south and visited cities of comparable size they more closely resembled my preconceptions of an African city, a bit dirtier than it is here. There are a few methods of trash disposal here, incineration being the most common. Below is an example from the other day on campus. In this case, we were lucky and the female students were unlucky. On other occasions we are the unlucky ones downwind from the burning trash. Unfortunately, plastic makes up much of what is being incinerated, which makes me cringe a little, but I can also see the lack of alternatives. The good news is that Ethiopians have taboos about wasting food, so prudence is taken to not create food waste and, to my knowledge, most food scraps are kept separate from other trash and ultimately composted. Unfortunately, it is rare for a car to actually stop for a pedestrian in the crosswalk, so they are less effective than they could be. It has been two years since HwU established technology villages to manage the research activities in an organized manner, test improved findings down on farmers’ field and smoothen technology transfer to the society. The villages are located in 6 different districts of Sidama Zone. Hulla District is one of these 6 villages where HwU funded poultry center inaugurated on June 22, 2013. The poultry center has been handed over to an association named ‘Birhan’ formed by 24 unemployed youth local residents.  According to a report read on the inaugural ceremony, the poultry center costed HwU more than 350,000ETB without considering the professional and laborious contributions. Therefore, the University provided the center with 1210 hens, feedings for 3 months and 20 cages. HwU also covers a lodging expense of the youth during their stay in Hawassa to receive training in the University and their transportation.
