ከቻይና የመጣ የልኡካን ቡድን በሀዋሳ ከተማ የተቋቋመውን የኢንዱሰትሪ መንደር ጎበኘ፡፡ የክልሉ ርዕሰ መስተዳደር አቶ ሽፈራው ሽጉጤ ከቻይና ቾንቺን ግዛት ለመጣው የልኡካን ቡድን እንደገለጹት  የበርካታ ብሄር ብሄረሰቦቸና ህዝቦች መኖሪያ የሆነው የደቡብ ክልል በኢንዱሰትሪ፣ ግብርናና አገልግሎት ተቋማት  መሳተፍ ለሚፈልጉ ባለሃብቶች ዕምቅ ሃብት ይገኝበታል፡፡ በክልሉ 22 የሪፎረም ከተሞች የመሰረተ ልማት አገልገሎት የተሟላላቸው የኢንዱሰትሪ መንደሮች መዘጋጀታቸውን ገልጸው በኢንዱስትሪ ዘርፍ መስራት ለሚፈልጉ ባለሃብቶች የክልሉ መንግስት አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍ እንደሚያደርግ አስታውቀዋል፡፡ በክልሉ ካለው ምቹ ሁኔታ በመታገዝ ብዛት ያላቸው ባለሃብቶች መዋዕለ ንዋያቸውን አፍስሰው እየሰሩ መሆኑን ገልጸው  በክልሉ በማንኛውም መሰክ መሰማራት ለሚፈልጉ የቻይና ባለሃብቶችን ለመቀበል የክልሉ መንግስት ዝግጁ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ከቻይና የቾንቺን ግዛት የመጡት የልዑካን ቡድን ተወካይ የክልሉ መንግስት ላደረገላቸው አቀባበል አመስግነው የቻይናው ሊፋን ኢንዱስትሪ ፓርክ በሀዋሳ የመኪና አካላት ማምረቻና መገጣጠሚያ መንደር ለማቋቋም የተለያየ  ስራ እየተካሄደ መሆኑን አስታውቀዋል፡፡ የቾንቺን ግዛት በርካታ ኢንዱስትሪ የሚገኙበት መሆኑ

Hawassa, July 23, 2011 (Hawassa) - Hawassa University in South Ethiopia Peoples' State expressed readiness to enroll more than 5000 new students in the coming academic year. University's Planning and Program Department Head, Dr. Tsegaye Bekele told ENA on Friday that most of the construction of expansion projects launched for the university has been completed. Dr. Tsegaye said the government allocated 540 million Birr budget for construction of the projects. The projects include, among others, construction of classrooms, dormitories, library, laboratory and offices. Preparations necessary for the learning-teaching process have been finalized, he said, adding, special attention has been given to provide support to girl students. The university is undertaking preparation to launch new programs including in journalism field of study. Over 470 million Birr is allocated to carry out additional expansion projects. አዲስ አበባ፣ ሀምሌ 16 2003 (ኤፍ ቢ ሲ) የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በመጪው የትምህርት ዘመን ከአምስት ሺ በላይ አዲስ ተማሪዎችን ለመቀበል  ዝግጁ መሆኑን አስታወቀ። ዩኒቨርሲቲው በትምህርት ዘመኑ ከሚቀበላቸው ተማሪዎች 70 በመቶዎቹን በሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ቀሪዎቹ ደግሞ  በማህበራዊ ሳይንስ ዘርፎች ለማሰልጠን ነው የተዘጋጀው።  አዲስ ለሚቀበላቸው ተማሪዎች በ540 ሚሊዮን ብር ከተጀመሩት 33 ነባር  የማስፋፊያ ፕሮጀክቶች አብዛኛዎቹ ተጠናቀው ለአገልግሎት መዘጋጀታቸውንም ገልጿል። በየትምህርት ዘርፉ የሚያስተምሩ መምህራንና መጻህፍት ማሟላትን ጨምሮ ሌሎችም ለመማር ማስተማሩ ስራ የሚያስፈልጉ ዝግጅቶች ተጠናቀዋል። ዩኒቨርሲቲው ለተጨማሪ የማስፋፊያ ፕሮጀክቶች ግንባታ ማስፈጸሚያም ከ470 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ መመደቡንም አስታውቋል።  ዩኒቨርሲቲው በአሁኑ ወቅት በመደበኛና በተከታታይ የትምህርት ፕሮግራሞች 23 ሺ የሚጠጉ ተማሪዎችን በማስተማር ላይ እንደሚገኝ የኢዜአ ዘገባ ያመለክታል።

The Hawassa City Road & Transport Office is constructing a driving licence training centre with nine million Birr from the Southern Regional State Transport Bureau in Hawassa Town. The facility will be the third national training centre after those in Addis Abeba and Bahir Dar. The construction agreement between the city’s transport office and Eyob Mekebeb General Construction, which is to perform the construction, was signed on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Eyob Mekebeb General Construction was licensed by the region in May 2010 and has constructed health centres and schools for the regional government. Construction commenced on an 80ht plot that was contributed by the city administration lease free in Hawassa, located 275km from Addis Abeba, on Monday, June 6.
