On 22 March 2017, the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO), in collaboration with the People’s Alliance for Freedom and Democracy (PAFD) and Mrs Liliana Rodrigues, Member of the European Parliament from the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats (S&D), held a conference   at the European Parliament in Brusse ls entitled “Women’s Inferno in Ethiopia: The Plight of Women from Ogaden, Oromo, Benishangul-Gumuz, Gambella & Sidama”. The conference assembled a wide variety of perspectives on the compound struggles facing marginalised populations within Ethiopia and, more specifically, the dismal condition of women’s rights within the country. During the last hundred years this group has experienced a lot ofchanges, incorporated in the greater Ethiopia, being influenced by the internationalmissionary movement, occupied by an European power and becoming a part of themodernising movement. ሪፖርተር ፡- ለቡና የውጭ ገበያ ከሚከፍለው ዋጋ የኢትዮጵያ አምራቾች ምን ያህል ይደርሳቸዋል? አቶ ሳኒ ፡- ከ35 እስከ 40 በመቶ ቢሆን ነው፡፡  ሌላው በሙሉ ከአርሶ አደሩ በላይ ያሉት የግብይት ሰንሰለቱ ተሳታፊ አካላት የሚቀራመቱት ነው፡፡ ዋናውን ለግብርና (ለቡና) ልማት ዕድገትም ሆነ ለቀጣይነት አርሶ አደሩ ትልቅ ድርሻ የሚገባውና የተጠቃሚነቱን ድርሻ መውሰድ የሚገባው አርሶ አደሩ ነበር፡፡ ስለዚህ ከፍትሐዊነት አንፃር ብዙ መሠራት የሚጠብቀው ነው፡፡ ሌላው በዘመናዊ የግብይት ሥርዓት በግብዓት ተዋንያን ዘንድ መተማመን መፈጠር አለበት፡፡ እርስ በርስ መተሳሰብ መኖር አለበት፡፡ በእኛ ሁኔታ ሲታይ የቡና ዘርፍ ለበርካታ ሕገወጥ ንግድና ዝውውር የተጋለጠ ነው፡፡ ይኼም የሆነበት ምክንያት ወጥ በሆነ መንገድ ሒደቱን ተከታትሎ ራሱን ችሎ የሚመራ ተቋም ባለመኖሩ ነው፡፡ ይህ ምክንያት ታምኖበት ቡናና  ሻይ ባለሥልጣን ተደራጅቷል፡፡ እንግዲህ ቡናና ሻይ ባለሥልጣን ሲደራጅ የግብይት ሥርዓቱንም የመገንባት ተልዕኮ ወስዷል ማለት ነው፡፡ ሦስተኛ እሴት ለሚጨምሩ ኢንዱስትሪዎች የግብርና ምርቶችን ማምረት ብቻ ተጠቃሚ አያደርግም፡፡ እሴት ጨምሮ በተሻለ ዋጋ በመሸጥ የዘርፉ ተዋንያንን ተጠቃሚ ማድረግ ይገባል፡፡ አገሪቷንም ተጠቃሚ ማድረግ ይገባል፡፡ ይህንን ሥራ በማከናወን ሒደት ላይ አሁን ያሉት ተቋማት አሉ? የሉም? ቡናና ሻይ ባለሥልጣን ይህንን ሁሉ ተልዕኮ ይወስዳል? አይወስድም የሚለው ጥያቄ ይደመጣል፡፡ ቀድሞ የነበሩት ተቋማት አሉ፡፡ በጋራ እየሠራን ነው፡፡ እነዚህን ሥራዎች የሚሠሩ ተቋማት ተጠሪነታቸው በሚኒስቴር ደረጃ ለሦስት አካላት ነው፡፡ ለእርሻና ተፈጥሮ ሀብት ሚኒስቴር፣ ለንግድ ሚኒስቴርና ለጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጽሕፈት ቤት ነው፡፡ እነዚህን ተቋማት ...

የኛ ለተባለው ፕሮጀክት የሬዲዮ ፕሮግራም ይለቀቅ የነበረው ፈንድ እንዲቋረጥ የወሰኑት የእንግሊዝ ዓለም አቀፍ ልማት ሚኒስትር ኢትዮጵያን ሊጎበኙ ነው፡፡ ከያዟቸው የጉብኝት ዕቅዶች መካከል ሐዋሳ የኢንዱስትሪ ፓርክ እንደሚገኝበት የሪፖርተር ምንጮች ገልጸዋል፡፡ የእንግሊዝ ዓለም አቀፍ ልማት ሚኒስትሯ ፕሪቲ ፓቴል የኛ ለተባለው የሬዲዮ ፕሮግራም ይለቀቅ የነበረው 5.2 ሚሊዮን ፓውንድ እንዲቋረጥ ያደረጉት በቅርቡ መሆኑ ይታወሳል፡፡ ሚኒስትሯ ፈንዱ ያቋረጠበት ምክንያት መንግሥታቸው ከዕርዳታ የተለየ መንገድን እንደሚመርጥና ይህም ዓለም አቀፍ የንግድ ትብብርን ማበረታት እንደሆነ ተናግረዋል፡፡ የኛ ለተባለው የሬዲዮ ፕሮግራም ፈንድ እንዲቋረጥ ካደረጉ በኋላ የሐዋሳ የኢንዱትሪ ፓርክን በዚህ ሳምንት እንደሚጎበኙ ታውቋል፡፡ ሚኒስትሯ የአፍሪካ ኅብረት ጉባዔን እንደሚከታተሉ፣ ከጉባዔው ጎን ለጎን ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ኃይለ ማርያም ደሳለኝንና የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትሩን ዶ/ር ወርቅነህ ገበየውን በሁለትዮሽ ጉዳዮች ላይ እንደሚያነጋግሩ የሪፖርተር ምንጮች ገልጸዋል፡፡ ኢትዮጵያ ከፓኪስታን ቀጥሎ ትልቁን የእንግሊዝ ዕርዳታ የምታገኝ ሲሆን፣ እ.ኤ.አ. በ2015 ብቻ 334 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ማግኘቷን መረጃዎች ያመለክታሉ፡፡ Source
