በኢትዮጵያ የፖለቲካ ታሪክ ሒደት ውስጥ ብልጭ በማለት ለብዙዎች የተስፋ ስንቅ አስይዞ የነበረው ምርጫ 97 በአወዛጋቢ ሁኔታ ከተጠናቀቀ በኋላ በአገሪቱ ውስጥ የሚገኙ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎችና ግለሰቦች የአገሪቱ የዴሞክራሲ ሥርዓት ግንባታ ወደኋላ እየተንሸራተተ ነው በማለት ይተቻሉ፡፡ ገዥው ፓርቲ ኢሕአዴግ ደግሞ አገሪቱ ለመድብለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓት ግንባታና አጠቃላይ ለአገሪቱ ዕድገት ወሳኝ የሚባሉ ውሳኔዎችንና አሠራሮችን መዘርጋቱን ይሞግታል፡፡ የ97 ምርጫን ተከትሎ የፖለቲካ ምህዳሩ ከምን ጊዜውም በላይ ጠቧል፣ ገዥው ፓርቲ ኢሕአዴግም በ97 የተፈጠረው ዓይነት የሕዝብ እንቅስቃሴ እንዳይኖር ተግቶ እየሠራ ነው በማለት የሚተቹ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች በርካታ ናቸው፡፡ ከእነዚህ በርካታ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች መካከል ደግሞ የኢትዮጵያ ፌደራላዊ ዲሞክራሲያዊ አንድነት መድረክ (መድረክ) በአሁን ወቅት አራት ፓርቱዎችን በአባልነት ያቀፈ ሲሆን፣ የመድረኩ አባል ከነበረው አንድነት ጋር ያለው ውዝግብ ባለመቋጨቱ እስካሁን ድረስ የሁለቱ ፓርቲዎች ግንኙነት አልለየለትም፡፡ በአገሪቱ የፖለቲካ ምህዳር እንደተስተዋለው የተለያዩ ስብስቦች በጋራ ለመሥራት የተፈራረሙዋቸው ስምምነቶች በርካታ ሲሆኑ፣ አብዛኛዎቹ ስምምነቶች የሚፈጸሙት በአብዛኛው አገር አቀፍ ምርጫ ሲደርስ በጋራ በመሆን ገዥውን ፓርቲ ለመታገልና በተበጣጠሰ መልኩ የሚገኘውን ድምፅ ከገዥው ፓርቲ ለመንጠቅ በማለም እንደሆነ የፖለቲካ ተንታኞች ይናገራሉ፡፡ ነገር ግን የምርጫዎቹን መጠናቀቅ ተከትሎ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎቹ ወይ ሲፈርሱ አልያም ደግሞ ሲከስሙ ባስ ሲል ደግሞ ለአንድ ዓላማ ተሰልፈው የነበሩት ግለሰቦችና በትብብር ወይም በጋራ ለመሥራት የተስማሙት ፓርቲዎች አመራሮች ሲዘላለፉና ሲወነጃጀሉ መመልከት የተለመደ ክስተት ሆኗል፡፡ ምንም
