The Sidama Liberation Movement (SLM) is over four decades old organisation of the Sidama nation fighting for nation's Freedom, Justice, Liberty and Equality. The nation has had this organisation informally for the period of over six to seven decades although it has been organisationally re-structured in early 1970s under the leadership of few groups of Sidama personalities from whom Kaala Woldeamanuel Duable was the one. Tragically and Sadly the late aforementioned SLM leadership finally surrendered his cause when he, during the May 15, 2005 Ethiopian highly rigged and fake election went back to surrender and work for the regime enslaving his own Sidama nation during his final days on earth. In the Sidamo/Sidama Controversy, We're the Ones Who Sounded Like a Tool Thanks to a series of  comments  appearing under our latest "Don't Sound Like a Tool" audio guide, SFoodie learned of a subtle shift in the spelling of an Ethiopian coffee-growing region that has much larger political undertones.  We've been happily drinking Sidamo coffee for years, believing that the name refers to Sidamo Province in southern Ethiopia. However, it turns out that "Sidamo," a name given the province more than a century ago, is a  derogatory  way to refer to the Sidama people who live in the region. LONDON, Oct 16 (IFR) - The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has picked BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan to arrange a debut US dollar-denominated Eurobond, according to sources. The bond is likely to have a minimum 10 year tenor, according to a source. The banks declined to comment. Ethiopia hopes to issue a bond either by the end of this year or early 2015, finance minister Sufian Ahmed Beker told IFR earlier this month. በጨርቃ ጨርቅ ኢንዱስትሪ ዘርፍ የተሰማራው ግዙፉ የአሜሪካ ኩባንያ ፒቪኤች ግሩፕ፣ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የጨርቃ ጨርቅ ፋብሪካ ለመክፈትና ሩቅ ምሥራቅ የሚገኙ ደንበኞቹም ፋብሪካዎቻቸውን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ እንዲያዛውሩ ለማድረግ ከመንግሥት ጋር እየተደራደረ መሆኑን ምንጮች ገለጹ፡፡  ቶሚ ሂልፊገር፣ ካልቪን ክሊን፣ ቲምበርላንድና አይዞድ በሚባሉ የልብስ ብራንዶች የሚታወቀው ይህ ግዙፍ ኩባንያ፣ የደቡብ ክልል መቀመጫ በሆነችው ሐዋሳ ከተማ የራሱን ፋብሪካ የማቋቋም ዕቅድ እንዳለው ታውቋል፡፡ ኩባንያው ራሱ ከሚያቋቁመው ፋብሪካ በተጨማሪ፣ ሩቅ ምሥራቅ በሚገኙ አገሮች ልብስ አምራች ደንበኞቹ ፋብሪካቸውን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ እንዲያዛውሩ ፍላጎት አሳይቷል፡፡ የያዘውን ዕቅድ ለማሳካት በጉዳዩ ላይ ከመንግሥት ባለሥልጣናት ጋር እየመከረ መሆኑ ታውቋል፡፡ የኩባንያዎቹ የሥራ ኃላፊዎች ሰሞኑን አዲስ አበባ በመምጣት ድሬዳዋ፣ ሐዋሳና አዲስ አበባ የሚገኙ ኢንዱስትሪ ዞኖችን ጎብኝተዋል፡፡ በቆይታቸው ወቅት የተለያዩ የጨርቃ ጨርቅ ፋብሪካዎችን ከመጎብኘታቸውም በተጨማሪ፣ ከጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ኃይለ ማርያም ደሳለኝና ከኢንዱስትሪ ሚኒስትሩ አቶ አህመድ አብተው ጋር በወደፊት ዕቅዶች ላይ ምክክር አድርገዋል፡፡ ከኢትዮጵያ ጨርቃ ጨርቅና ኢንዱስትሪ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት የተገኘው መረጃ እንደሚያስረዳው፣ ፒቪኤች ግሩፕ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ትልቁ የአልባሳት ገዥና ሻጭ ነው፡፡ ኩባንያው ለደንበኞቹ የገንዘብ አቅርቦት ያመቻቻል፡፡ የኢትዮጵያ ጨርቃ ጨርቅና ኢንዱስትሪ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት ማርኬቲንግ ኃላፊ አቶ ያሬድ መስፍን ለሪፖርተር እንደገለጹት፣ ኩባንያው 60 ሺሕ ሔክታር መሬት ለጥጥ ልማት ጠይቋል፡፡ ኢንስቲትዩቱ በጥጥ ልማት የሚሆን መሬት በደቡብ ክልል በማፈላለግ ላይ ነው ብለዋል፡፡  እ.ኤ.አ.

ከወራት በኋላ የአፍሪካ ዋንጫን ለማዘጋጀት በዝግጅት ላይ የነበረችው ሞሮኮ ኢቦላ በአፍሪካ አህጉር እያሳየ የመጣውን ከፍተኛ መስፋፋት በመፍራት ራሷን ከአዘጋጅነት ማግለሏን ዘጋርድያን አስነበበ፡፡ ደቡብ አፍሪካ፣ ግብጽ፣ ጋና  ወይም ሱዳን ውድድሩን የማዘጋጀት ዕድል አላቸው ተብሏል፡፡ ሞሮኮ ከዚህ ውሳኔዋ በፊት የጨዋታው ጊዜ ይራዘምልኝ ጥያቄ ለካፍ ማቅረቧ ይታወሳል፡፡ ምንም እንኳ ካፍ ጥያቄውን ውድ ቢያደርገውም፡፡ ሞሮኮ አላዘጋጅም ማለቷን ተከትሎ ውድድሩ ወደ ሚቀጥለው ዓመት ይራዘማል፣ ወይም ደግሞ ውድድሩ ታጥፎ በጎርጎሮሲያኑ 2017 ሊካሄድ ይችላል ተብሏል፡፡ ሞሮኮ ለሀገሪቱ ዜጎች ሲባል ከአዘጋጅነቷ ራሷን ማግለሏን የሚገልጽ ዘገባ ሱፐር ስፖርት ባለፈው ማክሰኞ  የሀገሪቱን እግር ኳስ ፌደሬሸን በማነጋገር ያወጣውን ዘገባ ዘጋርዲያን እንደ ማስረጃነት አቅርቧል፡፡ በዘገባው የሞሮኮ እግር ኳስ ፌዴሬሽን ፕሬዝዳንት ሞሀመድ ኦዚኒ እንዳሉት   አሁን ታሪካዊ ሀላፊነት አለብን፣ በውሳኔው ካፍ ችግር እንደሚገጥመው እንገነዘባለን፣ ነገር ግን በታሪክ እንደዚህ ዓይነት መጥፎ በሽታ አጋጥሞን አያውቅም  ብለዋል፡፡ የ2013 የአፍሪካ ዋንጫ ያዘጋጀችው ደቡብ አፍሪካ ውድድሩን ወደ ሀገሯ ለመውሰድ ድርድር ላይ መሆኗን ዘገባው አስቀምጧል፡፡ የጋና ስፖርት ሚንስትርም ውድድሩን በሀገራቸው ለማዘጋጀት ጥያቄውን ለካፍ ለማቅረብ መዘጋጀታቸውን ገልጸዋል፡፡ ሞሮኮ ይህን ውሳኔ መወሰኗን ተከትሎ ካፍ ብሔራዊ ቡድኗንና ክለቦቿን ከውድድር እንደሚያግዳቸው ይጠበቃል፡፡ ሞሮኮ ኢቦላን በመፍራት የአፍሪካ ዋንጫን እንደማታዘጋጅ ተገለጸ ከወራት በኋላ የአፍሪካ ዋንጫን ለማዘጋጀት በዝግጅት ላይ የነበረችው ሞሮኮ ኢቦላ በአፍሪካ አህጉር እያሳየ የመጣውን ከፍተኛ
