World Bulletin/News Desk Ethiopia is awaiting the imminent arrival of a decades-old statue of renowned Russian poet Alexander Pushkin – who allegedly had Ethiopian roots – from Russia, Ethiopia's Foreign Ministry said Wednesday. Born in 1799 in Moscow, Pushkin, whose ancestry is claimed by both Ethiopia and Eritrea, is considered the father of modern Russian literature. Foreign Ministry spokesman Dina Mufti told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday that the Pushkin statue would be transported to Addis Ababa from Moscow "soon." ኢዴፓ ሐምሌ 12 ቀን 2006 ዓ.ም. ሊያደርግ የነበረው ስብሰባ የተደናቀፈው በሕጋዊ መንገድ አለመሆኑን ያረጋገጠውን የአጣሪ ኮሚቴ ሪፖርት ያልተቀበለው ብቸኛው የአገር አቀፍ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች የጋራ ምክር ቤት አባል ኢሕአዴግ በመሆኑ፣ ለመድበለ ፓርቲ የፖለቲካ ሥርዓት መጠናከር ቁርጠኛ እንዳልሆነ ያረጋግጣል ሲል ከሰሰ፡፡ መስከረም 26 ቀን 2007 ዓ.ም. ለሪፖርተር በላከው ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ ላይ ኢዴፓ እንደገለጸው፣ በመብራት ኃይል አዳራሽ ሕዝባዊ ስብሰባ ለማካሄድ አስቦ ሲንቀሳቀስ በፀጥታ ኃይሎች ከተደናቀፈ በኋላ፣ በጉዳዩ ላይ በወቅቱ ለሕዝቡ በመገናኛ ብዙኃን መረጃ ቢሰጥም ጉዳዩን ለጋራ ምክር ቤቱ አቅርቧል፡፡  የኢዴፓ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴ ያቀረበውን ቅሬታ ያጣራው ኮሚቴም በደረሰበት መደምደሚያ የአዲስ አበባ የሰላማዊ ሠልፍና የሕዝባዊ ስብሰባ ፈቃድ ክፍል የስብሰባ ጥሪ ዕውቅና ፈቃድ እንጂ የስብሰባ ጥሪ ፈቃድ ሰጥቶ እንደማያውቅ፣ የስብሰባ ጥሪ ለማድረግ የሚያስችል የመኪና ቅስቀሳ ፈቃድ ለመስጠትም ሆነ ለመከልከል የሚያስችል ሕጋዊ ማዕቀፍ የሌለ መሆኑን፣ የስብሰባ ጥሪው እንዲደናቀፍና አባላቱም እንዲታሰሩ መደረጉ ተገቢ ያለመሆኑን፣ በስብሰባ ጥሪው ላይ ፓርቲው ሲጠቀምበት የነበረው የኪራይ መኪና መቀጣቱ አግባብ ያለመሆኑን ማተቱንም ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫው ይገልጻል፡፡ ይሁንና በሪፖርቱ ላይ በቂ ውይይት ከተደረገ በኋላ ድምዳሜውን ሁሉም የምክር ቤቱ አባላት ሲቀበሉት ኢሕአዴግ ብቻ ለመቀበል ፈቃደኛ ሳይሆን እንደቀረ፣ የኢዴፓ ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ ያመለክታል፡፡ ይህ ድርጊትም ኢሕአዴግ ለመድበለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓት መጠናከር ቁርጠኝነት እንደሚጎድለው ያረጋገጠበት ድርጊት ሆኖ እንዳገኘውም ጠቁሟል፡፡  የምክር ቤቱ አቋም በመገናኛ ብዙኃን ተዛብቶ መቅረቡም ሚዲያው በገዥ
