የመስመር ካርታው በሃዋሳ እና በመሰል ከተሞች በመሬት እና መሬት ነክ የመረጃ አያያዝን ዘመናዊ በማድረግ ሙስናን እና ብልሹ አሰራርን ያስቀራል ተብሏል። ዜናው የ ኤፍ.ቢ.ሲ ፦  የመስመር ካርታ መዘጋጀቱ በከተሞች በመሬት እና መሬት ነክ የመረጃ አያያዝን ዘመናዊ በማድረግ ሙስናን እና ብልሹ አሰራርን ያስቀራል አሉ በምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ማዕረግ የፋይናንስ እና ኢኮኖሚ ክላስተር አስተባባሪ እና የኢንፎርሜሽን እና መገናኛ እና ቴክኖሎጂ ሚንስትር ዶክተር ደብረፂሆን ገብረሚካኤል። የመስመር ካርታው የተዘጋጀላቸው በ5 ክልሎች የሚገኙ ከተሞች እና ለድሬደዋ ከተማ አስተዳደር ነው። ባህር ዳር ፣ ሃዋሳ፣ አዳማ ፣ሃረር እና ድሬደዋ ከተማ የመስመር ካርታው ከተዘጋጀላቸው ተጠቃሾች ናቸው። ይህም ከዚህ ቀደም የነበረውን ወጥነት የሌላቸው እና እርስ በእርሳቸው የማይናበቡ እና በቀላሉ ለብልሹ አሰራር በር ከፍተው የነበሩ አሰራሮችን ያስወግዳሉ። ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ለመጀመሪያ ግዜ በሃገር ውስጥ ባለሞያ የተዘጋጀው የመስመር ካርታ የመሬት እና መሬት ነክ መረጃዎችን ዘመናዊ ከማድረግም ባሻገር የሃገርን ደህንነት የሚያስጠብቅ ነው ተብሎለታል። የ 23 ከተሞችን የመስመር ካርታ ለማዘጋጀት ከ 40 ሚሊየን ብር በላይ ወጪ የተደረገበት ሲሆን በቀጣይም የ 68 ከተሞች የመስመር ካርታ ዝግጅት ይደረጋል መባሉን በላይ ተስፋዬ ዘግቧል።

App helps farmers in East Africa

A MOBILE app developed in Scotland has the potential to help millions of farmers in East Africa. The VetAfrica app will allow vets, farmers and others in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania diagnose diseases quickly and identify effective drugs. The app was developed by Glasgow-based technology company Cojengo, in partnership with software giant Microsoft and its 4Afrika initiative. Oilseed overtakes coffee as Ethiopia’s top export earner

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia  –  Export of oilseeds  has become the biggest foreign exchange earner for  Ethiopia overtaking  coffee , the country’s number one export item for decades. A ten-month performance report obtained from the Ministry of Trade (MoT) reveals that Ethiopia obtained just under 585 million USD from export of oilseeds, knocking coffee off its perch for the first time. In contrast, coffee generated 489.28 million USD during the same period. The country exported over 404 thousand tons of oilseeds during the first ten months of the budget year, a rise of over 10 per cent compared to the same period last year. The revenue obtained also showed a growth of 52 per cent compared to the same period last year. The achievement is over 95 per cent of the revenue the ministry projected to obtain during the period. The second Alle Bejimla wholesale cash & carry store opened at Kaliti on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, with the third, at Merkato, to follow on July 2, 2014. The cost to the government of setting up the three stores has reached 26 million Br. A profit making state venture under the Ethiopian Trading Enterprise (ETE), with the trade name Alle Bejimla, which literally translates as “wholesale available” commenced operations on May 26, 2014, this year, when Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn inaugurated the opening of its Megenagna store. The Kaliti store will target residents of the Akaki Kaliti and Nefas Silk Lafto districts. The Merkato store is anticipated to be opened in front of the Khelifa Building in Somali Tera in Addis Ketema District. All three stores are using facilities owned by the Merchandise Wholesale & Import Trade Enterprise (MEWITE).
