New BET Architects PLC has won a bid to design a major component of an expansion project Hawassa University will soon undertake. Hawassa University wishes to build a new university grounds including a facility it named Yirgalem Campus, for which it solicited design proposals. The university was aided by the Association of Ethiopian Architects [AEA] to select from seven entries for the three projects; civil engineering laboratory, administration building, and dormitory. The competition resulted in a big win for BET which, partnering with an international firm, has also sealed the deal to design Ethiopian Airlines’ headquarters in February.  BET took the largest of the three projects to draw a facility that houses buildings including students’ dormitory. New አዋሳ, የካቲት 28 ቀን 2004 (ሃዋሳ) - በደቡብ ክልል ከ17 ሺህ ለሚበልጡ ህፃናት የህፃን ለህፃናት አቀራረብ ዘዴን በመጠቀም የቅድመ መደበኛ ትምህርት ለመስጠት የሚያስችል ዝግጅት መጠናቀቁን የክልሉ ትምህርት ቢሮ ገለጸ፡፡ በፕሮግራሙ ከስድስተኛ እስከ ስምንተኛ ክፍል በትምህርታቸው የተሻለ ውጤት ያስመዘገቡ ከአምስት ሺህ የሚበልጡ ጎበዝ ተማሪዎች በማስተማሩ ስራ ላይ ይሳተፋሉ ተብሏል፡፡ የትምህርት አሰጣጥ ሂደቱን በመደገፍ የቁጥጥርና ክትትል ስራዎችን ለሚያከናውኑ ርዕሳነ መምህራን ፣ መምህራን፣ ሱፐር ቫይዘሮችና የወላጅ መምህር ህብረት ተወካዮች ስልጠና ተሰጥቷል፡፡ የቢሮው መንግስት ኮሙኒኬሽን ጉዳዮች የስራ ሂደት ተወካይ ወይዘሮ እናኑ ብዙነህ ዛሬ ለኢትዮጵያ ዜና አገልግሎት እንደገለጹት የቅድመ መደበኛ ትምህርትና ክብካቤ የህፃናትን አካልና አዕምሮ በማዳበር ለመደበኛ ትምህርት ለማዘጋጀትና መሰረት ለመጣል ቁልፍ ድርሻ አለው፡፡ አስተማማኝ ድጋፍና ክብካቤ ያገኙ ህፃናት ለመደበኛ ትምህርት በጥሩ ሁኔታ እንዲዘጋጁ ስለሚያደረጋቸው ወደ መደበኛ ትምህርት ሲገቡ ለየደረጃው የተዘጋጀውን ስርዓተ ትምህርት በቀላሉ መረዳት እንደሚችሉና አጥጋቢ የመማር ብቃት መመዘኛዎችን አሟልተው ወደ ሚቀጥሉት እርከኖች መሸጋገር ይችላሉ ብለዋል፡፡ በክልሉ በሲዳማ ዞን በዳራ ወረዳ በ2003 የትምህርት ዘመን የህፃን ለህፃን ትምህርት ፕሮግራም በሙከራ ደረጃ ተጀምሮ ውጤታማ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል፡፡ የክልሉ ትምህርት ቢሮ በወረዳው የተገኘውን ምርጥ ተሞክሮ በመቀመር ፕሮግራሙን በክልሉ ሁሉም አካባቢ በማስፋፋት እድሜያቸው ከሶስት እስከ ስድስት ዓመት የሆኑ ህፃናትን ተጠቃሚ ለማደረግ እየሰራ መሆኑን ወይዘሮ እናኑ ገልጸው በ2004 በጀት ዓመት በአራት ዞ

Coffee is the major foreign currency generating export product of Ethiopia; Ethiopia is known for its high quality, organic Arabica Coffee and also as the birth place of the commodity. A large number of exporters are engaged in coffee exporting from Ethiopia and even more number of people are engaged in businesses that involve in farming/ producing the product to finally supplying it to the exporters.
