Yirgalem  -  Sidama Coffee continues to surprise everyone in their climb to the top of the Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) with a 3-0 victory over Trans Ethiopia. Meskel Mengistu, Amele Milkias and Mengistu Tadele scored the goals. Meanwhile in Dire Dawa, Sebeta City held Harar Brewery to a 2-2 draw. Former St. George player Biniam Assefa scored his 11 th  goal of the season, and Ghanaian Ouwsu Rogers got the second goal. Harar’s goals came from Daniel Ayalew and Demiss Teshome. Ethiopian Coffee moved to second place of the Ethiopian Premier League Championship with a 3-1 victory over Mugher Cement here today. Mulu Alem Tilahun opened the score for Coffee but Mugher tied the game before half-time. Once again, Coffee went ahead with Mulu Alem’s second goal and Menyahel Teshome assured his team victory with the third goal. ኢትዮጵያ የምዕተ ዓመቱን የጤና ግቦች ለማሳካት ያላሰለሰ ጥረት እያደረገች ነው - ዶክተር ቴዎድሮስ አድሃኖም   አዲስ አበባ፣ የካቲት 13 ፣ 2003 ( ፋና   ብሮድካስቲንግ ኮርፖሬት )  ኢትዮጵያየምዕተ ዓመቱን የጤና ግቦች ለማሳካት አበረታች እንቅሰቃሴዎችን እያደረገች ነው አሉ  የጤና ጥበቃ ሚኒስትሩ። ሚኒስትሩ ዶክተር ቴዎድሮስ አድሃኖም በሐዋሳ ከተማ  የተገነባውን የአዳሬ ሆስፒታል መርቀውሲከፍቱ እንዳሉት ሀገሪቱ በጤናው ዘርፍ ባደረገችው ያላሰለሰ ጥረት የህጸናትና የእናቶች ሞት ጨምሮ የወባ፣የኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስናየቲቪ  በሽታዎች ቀንሰዋል፡፡ በተለይ የእናቶችን ሞት እ ኤ አ አቆጣጠር በ1990 ከነበረበት 1 ሺ 40 በአሁኑ ወቅትወደ 470 ዝቅ ማለቱን  የዓለም ጤና ድርጅት በቅርቡ ይፋ ያደረገው ሪፖርት አመልክቷል፡፡ ወባ፣ኤች አይ ቪ ኤድስና የቲቢ በሽታዎች ስርጭትም  ከ50 በመቶ በላይ መቀነሱን አመልክተዋል ዶክተር ቴዎድሮስ። ለዚህም ስኬት በሰሜን አሜሪካ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያን የጤና ባለሙያዎች ማህበራትና አባላትአስተዋጽኦ በአርአያነት የሚጠቀስ ነው ማለታቸውን የኢዜአ ዘገባ ያመለክታል፡፡

Deutsche Welle Amharic Service reports that 40,000 residents of Ethiopia’s southern town of Awassa have been asked to vacate their homes. The Woyanne ruling junta’s local puppet administration issued the order saying that the houses the residents own have been built without proper permits. It’s reported that several residents who have voiced opposition to the measure are being rounded up and arrested.

1. Introduction In my previous articles, I mentioned the Sidama grand social constitution Seera, and various sub constitutions which derive from this grand constitution. We have also seen that all social constitutions or Seera in Sidama were based on the Sidama moral code of halale, the true way of life. In this socio-cultural and socio-political system, the role of the elders was very important.
