በሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምርና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ም/ፕሬዚዳንት ጽ/ቤት የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዳይሬክቶሬት በጨፌ ኮቲጀቤሳ ለሚገኙ ባለሙያዎችና እማወራ ገበሬዎች ለሁለት ቀናት (ከ11/2/ዐ9-12/2/ዐ9) በዘመናዊ ዶሮ እርባታና አያያዝ ዙሪያ ስልጠና በመስጠት ምርጥ የዶሮ ዝርያዎችን አከፋፈለ፡፡   ዶ/ር ተስፋዬ አበበ የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምርና ቴ/ሽግግር ም/ፕሬዝዳንት በወቅቱ እንደተናገሩት የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በስሩ በርካታ ስራዎችን እየሰራ ያለ ሲሆን የዛሬውም ይህ ስልጠና እና የምርጥ ዘርዶሮዎች ማከፋፈል ከነዚሁ አንዱ መሆኑን ገልጸው ይህንን Ýሮግራም የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዳይሬክቶሬት ከኤስ.ኦ.ኤስ የህፃናት መንደር ጋር በጋራ የሚሰሩት መሆኑን አክለው ገልፀዋል፡፡   ይህ ፕሮጀክት ከዚህ በፊት ለ5ዐ7 ተማሪዎች ድጋፍ በማድረግ ትምህርታቸውን እንዲማሩ ያስቻለ ሲሆን ልጆቹ በአግባቡ ትምህርታቸውን እንዲከታተሉ ወላጆቻቸውን መደገፍ አስፈላጊ መሆኑ ስለታመነበት ለሃያ አምስት እማወራዎች አስር ምርጥ የዶሮ ዝርያዎችን ከሃምሳ ኪሎ ግራም መኖ ጋር መከፋፈላቸውን አቶ ዮሐንስ ዮና የዩኒቨርሲቲው የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ገልፀዋል፡፡   እኝህ እማወራዎች የተመረጡት በመነሻ ጥናትና የቤተሰቡ የዕድገት ዕቅድ ጥናት ታይቶ ሲሆን ምርጥ የዶሮ ዝርያዎቹም በአካባቢው አርሶ አደሮች ተሞክረው ውጤታማ የሆኑና ተቀባይነት ያገኙ መሆናቸውን አቶ ካሳው አስማረ የኤስ.ኦ.ኤስ የህፃናት መንደር Ýሮግራም ዳይሬክተር አስታውቀዋል፡፡ Source:http://www.hu.edu.et/hu/index.php/news/470-%E1%88%9D%E1%88%AD%E1%88%9D%E1%88%AD.html

Sidama Bunna Sidama Bunna  (Sidama Coffee) defeated  Arba Minch Kenema  3-1 to win the  South Castle Cup thanks to hat-trick by  Addis Gedey . Meanwhile,  Dire Dawa Kenema beat  Ethiopian Bunna  (Ethiopia Coffee) 2-1 to finish third. The match started well for Arba Minch as Wondemeneh Zerihun scored just 6th minute into the match but their joy was short lived as Addis Gedey leveled the score just right after. It took only a minute after the start of the second half for Addis Gedey to put Sidama in the lead and he scored his third goal of the match in injury time. Hawassa is one of the pilot corridors for this ambitious project which is headed by Arkebe Equbay. Nonetheless, the practices of the IPDC in the Sidama region remains anti developmental for several reasons: First, the plot for the park in Hawassa, the capital city of Sidama, is taken from the land legally owned by the Sidama Development Corporation (SDC) without consultation and any compensation. The land was used by the SDC for agribusiness developments.  Expropriation of land without compensation is not only illegal but also anti-developmental. The Sidama people will view the Hawassa Industrial park not as a development corridor but as a weapon to economically marginalise them.
