(ዘ-ሐበሻ) በሐዋሳ ከተማ ዛሬም እንደአዲስ የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ ደረሰ:: ባለፈው ሳምንት ለ6 ጊዜያት የደረሰው የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ በርካቶችን ቤታቸው ገብተው ለማረፍ እንኳ ፍርሃት እንዲደርስባቸው አድርጎ ነበር:: የሐዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለተማሪዎች የ እረፍት ጊዜ ሰጥቶ ከየቤተሰባቸው ጋር እንዲያሳልፉ ፈቃድ በሰጠው መሰረት በርካታ ተማሪዎች ወደየ ከተማቸው ያመሩ ሲሆን በዚህም መሠረት ዛሬ ከሐዋሳ ተሳፍረው ወደ አዲስ አበባ ሲጓዙ የነበሩ 5 ወጣት ተማሪዎች ሕይወታቸው በመኪና አደጋ ተቀጥፏል:: ተማሪዎቹን ከሐዋሳ ጭና ስትሄድ የነበረችው መኪና ከአዲስ አበባ ወደ ሃዋሳ ሲጓዝ ከነበረ አይሱዙ መኪና ጋር በመጋጨቷ የ5ቱ ተማሪዎች ሕይወት ማለፉን ፖሊስ የሰጠው መግለጫ ያስረዳል:: የአደጋው መን ስ ኤ ይበልጥ እየተጣራ መሆኑንም ፖሊስ አስታውቋል:: ተሽከርካሪዋ ከአዲስ አበባ ወደ ሀዋሳ ሲጓዝ ከነበረ ኤፍ ኤስ አር አይሱዙ የጭነት መኪና ጋር በመጋጨቷ ነው አደጋው የደረሰው። ይህ አሰቃቂ ዛሬ ጃንዋሪ 29, 2016 7 ሰዓት ላይ የደረሰው በሞጆ እና በመኪ ከተሞች መካከል ላይ በሚገኘው የአዋሽ ወንዝ ድልድይ ላይ መሆኑም ታውቋል:: ይህ የአዋሽ ድልድይ በጣም ጠባብ ከመሆኑ የተነሳ በተቃራኒ መንገድ 2 መኪኖች በአንድ ላይ ለመጓዝ አስቸጋሪ እና አስፈሪ ነው የሚሉት ለዘ-ሐበሻ አስተያየታቸውን የሰጡ የአካባቢው ነዋሪዎች የክልሉ የትራፊክ ፖሊስ በድልድዩ ላይ በአንድ ጊዜ አንድ መኪና ብቻ እንዲያልፍ የሚያዝ ህግ ማውጣት ነበረበት እንዲሁም መኪኖችም በፍጥነት እንዳይሄዱ  ማስጠንቀቂያዎችን በአካባቢው መለጠፍ ነበረበት ሲሉ ይናገራሉ:: Source  http://www.zehabesha.com/amharic/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Awash-Bridge-and-hawasa-student

በሃዋሣ ከተማ ውስጥ በሚገኘው የሃዋሣ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፍሳሽ ማጠራቀሚያ ገንዳ ውስጥ የገቡ 3 ህፃናት ህይወታቸው አለፈ፡፡ ዕድሜያቸው 8‚ 12‚ እና 14 የሚሆናቸው ህፃናት፤ በሽቦ አጥር በተከለለው የዩኒቨርሲቲው የቆሻሻ ፍሳሽ ማጠራቀሚያ ገንዳ ውስጥ በአጥር ተንጠላጥለው በመግባት ለመዋኘት ሲሞክሩ ህይወታቸው አልፏል፡፡ ወደ ፍሳሽ ማጠራቀሚያው የገቡት አራት ህፃናት ሲሆኑ ከሁለት መንትያ ወንድማማቾች መካከል አንደኛው ወደ ማጠራቀሚያ ውስጥ ሳይገባ በመቅረቱ ህይወቱ የተረፈ ሲሆን፤  የስምንት አመቱ ህፃን መንትያ ወንድሙን ጨምሮ ሁለት ጓደኞቹ በገንዳው ውስጥ ገብተው በመቅረታቸው ሁኔታውን ለሰዎች ነግሮ፣ የህፃናቱ አስከሬን ከገንዳው ውስጥ ሊወጣ ችሏል፡፡ የህፃናቱ የቀብር ስነስርዓት ከትናንት በስቲያ በስላሴ ቤተክርስቲያን የተፈፀመ ሲሆን በህፃናቱ ሞት የአካባቢው ነዋሪዎች በእጅጉ አዝነዋል፡፡ ዩኒቨርሲቲው ለፍሳሽ ማጠራቀሚያ ባዘጋጀው ገንዳ ውስጥ የተጠራቀመውን ፍሳሽ እያጣራ መልሶ ለአገልግሎት እንዲውል በሚያስችል ቴክኖሎጂ እየተጠቀመ መሆኑን የሚናገሩት ምንጮች፤ ማጠራቀሚያው ግን በበቂ ሁኔታ በአጥር ተከልሎና ጥበቃ ተመድቦለት ቁጥጥር ሊደረግበት ይገባ ነበር ብለዋል፡፡ ስለጉዳዩ እንዲነግሩን ለዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዚዳንት ያደረግነው ተደጋጋሚ የስልክ ጥሪ ምላሽ ሳያገኝ ቀርቷል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል ከሰሞኑ ርዕደ መሬት ጋር በተያያዘ አዋሣ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለ15 ቀናት በመዘጋቱ ምክንያት ወደ ቤተሰቦቻቸው በመኪና ሲጓዙ የነበሩ 5 የዩኒቨርሲቲው ተማሪዎች ትናንት ዝዋይ ላይ በተፈጠረ መኪና አደጋ ህይወታቸው አልፏል፡፡ Source  http://www.zehabesha.com/amharic/archives/50458

Following the continuous earthquake the city is experiencing since Sunday evening, residents are in fear to stay in their house. To avoid any risks and damages they are spending the night out of their houses. Students in different collages are pushed out to sleep in the fields. It has been for the six tine that the city shocked with the earthquake within 24 hours. On 21 January 2016, the European Parliament passed an urgent resolution on the situation in Ethiopia – condemning the use of violence by the security forces against Oromo peaceful protesters in particular, and drawing attention to the increased number of human rights violations in Ethiopia more generally. The resolution also highlights the dire situation in the Ogaden region and calls for a credible investigation into atrocities committed in the country. Importantly, as stressed by UNPO at multiple occasions, the resolution calls for greater scrutiny by the EU of its development assistance to Ethiopia, to ensure it is not contributing to further human rights violations.
