Voters’ registration for the upcoming national election will begin on Friday January 9

Voters’ registration for the upcoming national election will begin on Friday January 9 and will continue till February 19, according to timetable announced by the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE). During the previous national election electoral officials postponed the deadline twice from its original schedule. Finally, the officials announced that the total number of registered voters reached 31,926,520 adding that 6.3 million more voters were already registered then than in 2005.
