እንደፈረንዶቹ ዘመን ኣቆጣጠር በ 1998 ኣመተምህረት ዝቅተኛ ገቢ ያላቸው ነገር ግን ሰርተው መለወጥ የምችሉ፤ በገጠር እና ከተማ ነዋሪ የሆነው እና ኣማራጭ የገንዘብ ተቋማት በኣቅራቢያቸው የሌሏቸው ዜጎች ለመረዳት ተብሎ በ 200 ሺ ብር ካፒታል የተቋቋመው የሲዳማ ማክሮ ፋይናንስ ባለፉት 15 ኣመታት ተቀማጭ ካፒታሉን ወደ ሁለት ሚሊዮን ዶላር ማሳደግ ብችልም፤ በዞኑ የማክሮ ፋይናንስ ገበያ ያለው ተወዳዳሪነት እየቀነሰ ነው። የማክሮ ፋይናሱ ኣሴት ( Assets) ባለፉት ኣስርተ ኣመታት ከ 2 ነጥብ 3 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ወደ 1 ነጥብ 9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ወርዷል፤ የማክሮ ፋይናንሱ ኤኪቲይ ( Equity) ደግሞ ከ 1 ነጥብ 9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ወደ 619 ሺ 085 ከ 06 ሳንቲም ወርዷል፤ ግሮስ ሎን ፖርትፎልዮ ( Gross Loan Portfolio) ደግሞ ከ 657 ሺ 678 ከ 99 ሳንቲም ወደ 2 ነጥብ 5 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ኣድጓል፤ ቀድሞ የሲዳማ ልማት ፕሮግራም በኃላ ላይ ደግሞ የሲዳማ ልማት ኮፕሬሽን እህት ኩባንያ ሆኖ በፍቃድ በቁጥር 40/1996 በኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ ቁጥጥር ስር ሆኖ የተመዘጋበው የሲዳማ ማክሮ ፋይናንስ በሲዳማ ዞን ውስጥ ባሉ የገጠር እና ከተማ ቀበሌያች የብድር ኣገልግሎት በመስጠት ላይ ሲሆን ወደ 50 ሺ የሚጠጉ የኣገልግሎቱ ተጠቃሚዎች እንዳሉት ታውቋል። ከኤም ኤፍ ኣይ የተገኘው መረጃ እንደሚያመለክተው ማክሮ ፋይናንሱ እኣኣ በ 2012 ኣም 2 ነጥብ 5 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ግሮስ ሎን ፖርትፎሊዮ ሲኖረው፤ በኣማካይ 51 ነጥብ 8 ዶላር ማለትም ወደ ኣንድ ሺ ብር ለየኣንዳንዱ ተበዳር ኣበድሯል። የማክሮ ፋይናንሱ ከ 1 ነጥብ 3 ሚሊዮን ዶላር በላይ ተቀማጭ ገንዘብ ኣለው። ለ

Lake Hawassa is the smallest lake in the rift valley of Ethiopia. Its pollution from industrial discharges has become a serious concern. The objective of this work was to assess its pollution and policy on it. Effluents contained chemical parameters that surpassed the maximum permissible limits (MPL) of EPA. The concentrations Hg, Pb, Cd, Fe and Ni in Tikur Wuha River were above MPL in drinking water due to inflowing effluent. The concentrations of these metals in the lake water were far less and below MPL in drinking water, but the level of heavy metals in the only inflowing river is a warning to the lake. Fry mortality and algal biomass varied depending on effluent source and concentration level used in the study. High fry death and algal growth were observed in textile factory effluent treatment.
