Structural economic weaknesses and lack of economic transformation amid massive over population has left the majority of the population in abject poverty. Unemployment, particularly among the youth, and rural underemployment remain rampant. The continued economic marginalization amid relative improvements in political space since 1991 has been worsened by lack of capacity and good governance, corruption, and above all disempowering administrative arrangement that denied political voice to the majority of the population. The country has adopted bicameral administrative system since 1993. Sidama Coffee is still in the hunt of a new head coach to replace departing head coach ZelalemShiferaw.   Last year’s National League semi finalist Dereje Belay has now taken over at Amhara Water Works FC, a side determined to be promoted at the end of this season. They have a fresh commitment to joining the Premier League because Amhara Region currently has no club at the upper tier fixture. Given a substantial players’ transfer budget, Dereje known for his honesty, is already busy convincing players to join his side, including players well experienced at the Premier League. Former TikurAbay, Mugher Cement and Harar Brewery attacking midfielder Daniel Ayalewis was among the first big fish lured to join Amhara Water Works. Daniel signed a two year contract for two seasons taking home a 310,000 Birr signin
