የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ኮሌጅ ከ1 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ያስገነባውን ስታዲየም አስመረቀ

በሐዋሳ ከተማ የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ኮሌጅ ከአንድ ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ያስገነባውን ሁለገብ ስታዲየም አስመረቀ፡፡ የኒቨርስቲው ከየካቲት 12 ጀምሮ ሁለተኛውን የግል ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት የስፖርት ፌስቲቫል ውድድርንም ያካሂዳል፡፡ የከተማዋ አስተዳዳሪ ከንቲባ አቶ ሽበቁ ማጋኔ ስታዲየሙን ሲመርቁ እንደተናገሩት በውድድሩ ለመሳተፍ ለሚመጡ የልዑካን ቡድኖች የሐዋሳ ከተማ ህዝብ የተለመደውን አቀባበል በማድረግ ህብረ ብሄራዊነቷን ማሳየት አለበት፡፡ የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ኮሌጅ ባለቤት አቶ ዘሪሁን ቀቀቦ በበኩላቸው ኮሌጁ ለ2ኛ ጊዜ የሚካሄደውን የኢትዮጵያ የግል ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት የስፖርት ፌስቲቫል ለማስተናገድ ከዛሬ 6 ወር በፊት ዝግጅት መጀመሩን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ይህንን ለማሳካትም ከተለያዩ አካላት ጋር እንቅስቃሴ መደረጉን ገልጸዋል፡፡ ከተለያዩ የግል ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት የተውጣጡ የውድድሩ ተሳታፊዎችም በስፍራው ይገኛሉ፡፡ ለ15 ቀናት በሚቆየው ውድድር ከ22 በላይ የግል ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት ይሳተፋሉ ከ1 ሺህ በላይ ስፖርቶች በእግር ኳስ፣ መረብ ኳስ፣ ቅርጫት ኳስ፣ ጠረጴዛ ቴኒስ፣ አትሌቲክስና ቼዝ ውድድሮች ደግሞ ለውድድር የቀረቡ የስፖርት ዓይነት ናቸው፡፡

40,000 Awasa residents to lose their homes

Deutsche Welle Amharic Service reports that 40,000 residents of Ethiopia’s southern town of Awassa have been asked to vacate their homes. The Woyanne ruling junta’s local puppet administration issued the order saying that the houses the residents own have been built without proper permits. It’s reported that several residents who have voiced opposition to the measure are being rounded up and arrested.
